Tennis with Fitness Focus: Pop in for a fast paced, fun tennis workout with the music pumping. The first portion of class will be spent with feeding drills designed to give you lots of reps and lots of steps. Then you will switch to multiple fun rotating games led by your instructor. 3 & Me: Have an instructor play as a fourth with your group to gain unique insight and coaching. Your coach will provide tips and pointers while keeping the flow of the match going. Coaches can structure points to make sure you get reps on highlighted shots from specific spots on the court, providing reps that are hard to consistently get with normal match play. Director: $49 per player + wsst (1.5 hours) Assistant Pros: $41 per player + wsst (1.5 hours)
Shot of the Week: Each week a different shot will be highlighted and emphasized. The session will consist of stroke analysis, instruction with examples given, appropriate drills to develop reps, and games that emphasize the given stroke. Tennis 105: This doubles game that is taking over clubs across the nation! Suitable for all levels, this game is not only a workout and a ton of fun but will improve your tennis play by: Teaching you when to play near the net player Improve your overall net game. Ages 7-10 , 5:00-6:15 pm Played on either a 60 or 78 foot court with green balls (75% of normal bounce) Players are starting to develop ability to play offense and defense with each shot. Different playing styles can be can be used based on opponents strengths and weaknesses. Continued development of technique for each stroke to make strokes more dynamic and efficient.
Pre - AcademY
Ages 7-10, 4:00-5:00 pm Played on a 60 foot court with orange balls (50% of normal bounce height). Strokes begin to become more complete with body movements that lead to arm actions. Spin, arc, speed, and direction of shots can be manufactured and manipulated. Students learn to keep score and can play mini set, play with friends and family.

Ages 10+, 5;00 - 6:15 pm For older students who are new to the sport, will first be taught same skills as red and orange players using standard ball on full court. Once rally skills are established, stroke technique and game play will be further emphasized. Students will be able to maintain controlled rally with peer and start to create spin and control direction of shots.

Ages 4-6 , 4:15-5:00 pm Learn athletic and technical pre-rally skills to begin. Use games and drills to learn to rally at controlled speeds with red balls (25% bounce) on a 36 foot court. Learn beginning fundamentals for forehands, backhands, volleys, serves, and overheads.

Reservations may be scheduled up to one week in advance and any time within that week via Court Reserve beginning online begin at 7 am. Phone or in person reservations begin at 7:30 a.m. Cancellation of court time requires two hours notification for outdoor courts and 4 hours for indoor courts. Without proper notice, Late cancellation fee of $15 orno-show fee of $20 will be charged. Tennis reservations can be made for 1.25 or 1.5 hours (changes seasonally) Outdoor tennis courts, #2-3, have lights for play through 10:00 p.m., April 1st through October 31st (weather permitting). It is important to actually turn off the switch for court lights when done playing, even if lights have turned off automatically. Racquetball is available for 1 hour. Squash is available for 1 hour on Ct. 1. Pickleball is available during schedule program times and designated pickleball reservation times. Ages 12 and under are not allowed in saunas. Saunas are Dry Saunas; water is not to be added to the heated rocks. The weight room is available to ages 11 and older, but ages 11-14 are required to complete the Jr. Lifter’s Club Badge training program before being eligible to use weight and/or cardio equipment. Lifter Badge must be worn by those users ages 11-14 whenever they are in the Weight Room. Schedule Lifter Training at Front Desk or with Personal Trainer. - $20 Training Fee; $10 Badge Replacement fee Water bottles with lids are permitted in activity areas and tennis courts. Food must remain in lobby areas. Shoes worn on the indoor tennis courts and hardwood floors must be clean and non-marking; not worn outside. Eyeguard use is mandatory for racquetball and squash play. Swimsuits may not be worn other than in sauna and pool areas. Workout clothing and clean-soled, closed-toed, shoes required in the Weight Room. Cell phone use is limited to phone calls taken in lobby areas and for personal media use in workout rooms only. Use of Personal Trainers/Coaches who are not employed by the WRAC is strictly prohibited. You may not provide or receive these types of services from any other member or guest regardless of whether a fee is charged.
