How do I schedule a written exam or road test? Minnesota Driver and Vehicle E-Services
My student completed 30 hours of classroom instruction. I have participated in and completed the Supplemental Parent Curriculum (instructor will notify you of the date). I have received my Certificate of Completion for the Supplemental Parent Curriculum from my student’s classroom instructor and have it stored in a safe place. My student has been issued a blue card (Certificate of Enrollment & Classroom Completion card) by the instructor, and my student has signed it. I also have it stored in a safe place. I have scheduled a Class D Knowledge test (written test) with the State of MN for my student. My student has successfully passed the State of MN Class D Knowledge test. I have printed the State of MN Supervised Driving Log or downloaded the Road Ready app to my student’s phone to begin logging supervised driving hours. I have completed a minimum 10 hours of supervised driving with my student prior to the first behind-the-wheel lesson. My student’s behind-the-wheel instructor has reached out to me, and we have successfully started scheduling my student’s behind-the-wheel hours. My student has successfully completed all 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction with a licensed instructor. My student has been issued a white card (Driver Education Certificate of Completion) by his or her behind-the-wheel instructor. I have scheduled a Road Test with the State of MN for my student. The "road test" can only be scheduled with the DMV one month before your child's 16th birthday
