The Coldwell Banker Global Luxury® program releases The Trend Report annually to ensure you have the most current real estate data. The Trend Report 2024 identified six trends influencing the luxury housing market. The halfway point of the year offers an opportunity to assess these trends and identify new patterns. Hence, our first-ever Mid-Year Report was born. Leveraging intelligence from the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing and a survey of Coldwell Banker Global Luxury Property Specialists worldwide, this report unveils a mix of established and emerging trends. New “right” luxury inventory remains the driving force behind sales. Demand remains high for “unicorn” properties; increasingly selective buyers are willing to wait until they find the right home. Aspirational pricing has started to fade. The market has largely shifted out of neutral following 2023, although some uncertainty persists since it’s an election year in the U.S. Still, agent optimism is high. Nearly 70% of Luxury Property Specialists expressed confidence in the health of the 2024 luxury market. Cherie began her Real Estate career in the mid-1990’s. Her father began building homes in the late 1950’s and growing up in a family of builders set the foundation for her career and paved the way to successfully closing over 1000 property transactions. Understanding the building process has given her a keen eye and excellent navigation skills in the listing and selling process. Cherie’s natural way with people and an innate ability to determine what they were looking for in a home allowed her to quickly build a valued client base she maintains to this day. When she’s not assisting her clients, Cherie enjoys writing sonnets, giving back to her community on the Eastside, especially Bellevue where she resides and the Greater Seattle area. Cherie also loves spending time with her 11 grandkids, lovingly referred to as Eleven Heaven.
