resident reminders
Underground Parking friendly reminders Our garage parking spaces are for vehicles that belong to our residents only. We do, however, also allow you to keep one storage tote in the front of your designated parking space. All other items must be stored elsewhere, and we thank you for keeping our garage clutter-free.
Live in the sunshine. Swim in the sea. Drink the wild air. -Ralph Waldo Emerson
Common Area Carpet Cleaning June 17th - 19th Each year we have the carpet in all common areas cleaned. Please be very careful when stepping from damp carpet onto tile or vinyl plank. Your shoes will be slippery from the damp carpet. Thank you for being extra cautious during this process.
Balconies be sure to keep your neighbors down below dry We love to see all of the beautiful container gardens our residents have on their balconies. When watering your flowers and plants, remember to keep the water to a minimum and inside the container so you don't accidentally water your neighbor below. To avoid this from happening, it's always a good idea to keep a tray under all of your containers. Your neighbor below thanks you!
TAKE NOTE!

Whether you’re brightening up your apartment or adding color to your patio, here are some top container plants for both indoor and outdoor settings in Wisconsin: Indoor Container Plants: Pansies: These cheerful flowers thrive in cooler temperatures and bring a splash of color to indoor spaces. They do well in pots and enjoy bright, indirect light. English Ivy: This trailing plant is ideal for indoor containers, adding a touch of greenery with its elegant vines. It prefers moderate light and regular watering. African Violet: Known for its stunning blooms, the African Violet is perfect for bright indoor spots. It requires indirect light and consistent moisture. Outdoor Container Plants: Petunias: These versatile annuals are great for outdoor containers. They bloom profusely and come in a range of colors. Petunias love sunny spots and add vibrant hues to any patio or balcony. Calibrachoa (Million Bells): Similar to petunias, calibrachoa offers a cascade of small, colorful flowers. It’s perfect for hanging baskets or container gardens and enjoys full sun. Coleus: This plant offers vibrant, varied foliage and thrives in containers. Coleus does well in partial shade, making it a great option for areas with less direct sunlight. Primroses: These early bloomers are perfect for cooler summer weather. They provide a burst of color in containers and prefer cooler temperatures and partial shade. These container plants will add beauty and life to your indoor and outdoor spaces this spring. Choose the ones that best fit your light conditions and enjoy the fresh, seasonal greenery they bring!

Weddings around the world feature some quirky traditions: In Scotland, the "blackening" involves dousing the bride and groom with tar and feathers before the wedding. In South Korea, a pre-wedding ritual includes beating the groom's feet with fish or sticks! In India, some couples perform the "jumping the broom" ceremony, signifying the sweeping away of old lives. In Norway, it’s common to wear a silver crown with bells, which jingles as the bride moves, warding off evil spirits.

June Dairy Month began in 1937 as a way to promote the dairy industry and encourage milk consumption. The idea emerged from a campaign by the National Dairy Council to highlight the nutritional benefits of dairy products. Significant milestones include the first celebration in June 1937 and the establishment of Dairy Month as a national event. Over the decades, the celebration has grown to include various educational and promotional activities to support dairy farmers and their products.
