Trash and Recycling Disposal Your Cooperation Is appreciated We kindly ask for your cooperation in properly disposing of trash and recycling! To help us maintain a clean and efficient system, please ensure the following: Use Containers with Available Space: If a container in the trash room is already full, please place your trash or recycling in one of the other containers with available space or use the other trash room. Overfilling a single container creates unnecessary mess and increases the risk of spillage. Avoid Overfilling: Trash and recycling should not exceed the rim of the dumpster. Containers filled beyond their capacity result in overage fees charged to our community. Thank you for helping to keep our community clean!
Always believe that something wonderful is about to happen. Anonymous
Common Area Expectations a friendly reminder for our residents The common areas and hallways of our communities are shared spaces enjoyed by all. As a friendly reminder, please be mindful of the following when in the common areas: Avoid behavior that could create a nuisance such as playing, loitering, loud noises, offensive conduct, inappropriate attire (please have shoes and appropriate street attire on at all times), or playing music without headphones. If you have any questions about what is, or is not allowed, in the common areas, please refer to the Rules & Regulations book, or contact the Resident Services Office for more information. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and for making our community a great place to live for all of our residents.

Creating a butterfly-friendly patio or balcony can be a delightful way to enjoy nature right from your apartment. Choosing the right container plants not only enhances your outdoor space but also supports local butterfly populations. Here are some top picks for patio containers in Wisconsin: Milkweed: Essential for monarch butterflies, milkweed provides a vital habitat for their larvae. Its bright clusters of orange, pink, or white flowers attract butterflies and help them thrive. It's best planted in large containers and enjoys full sun. Coneflowers: Coneflowers, with their daisy-like blooms, are a butterfly magnet. They offer nectar that butterflies love and are hardy enough for Wisconsin’s climate. They thrive in sunny spots and add long-lasting color to your patio. Black-eyed Susans: These cheerful, yellow flowers are great for attracting butterflies. They’re easy to grow in containers, enjoy full sun, and bloom throughout the summer. Verbena: Verbena’s vibrant, clustered blooms are irresistible to butterflies. They are well-suited for containers, prefer sunny locations, and bloom continuously from spring to fall. Lavender: Lavender not only attracts butterflies but also adds a lovely fragrance to your patio. It thrives in well-drained soil and full sun, and its purple spikes of flowers are a butterfly favorite. Why These Plants Are Important: Nectar Sources: Many butterfly species rely on nectar from flowers for sustenance. Plants like milkweed, coneflowers, and verbena provide essential food sources for adult butterflies. Larval Food: Milkweed is crucial for monarchs as it serves as the primary food source for their caterpillars. Without it, monarch populations would decline. Habitat and Shelter: Plants with dense foliage, like lavender, offer shelter and protection for butterflies during their life cycle. By choosing these butterfly-friendly plants for your outdoor containers, you not only enhance your outdoor space but also support these beautiful insects. Enjoy watching butterflies flutter by as they visit your garden oasis!
What is Artificial Intelligence?
you hear about it everywhere, but what is it?
Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to the simulation of human intelligence in machines that are programmed to think and learn like humans. It encompasses various technologies like machine learning, which enables systems to automatically improve their performance through experience. AI systems can perform tasks that typically require human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making, and language translation. For example, AI powers virtual assistants like Siri and Alexa, which understand natural language commands and execute tasks accordingly. Machine learning, a subset of AI, involves feeding algorithms large amounts of data so they can identify patterns and make decisions with minimal human intervention. This capability is used in recommendation systems (like those on Netflix and Amazon), fraud detection algorithms used by banks, and even autonomous vehicles. The source for this article was even Artificial Intelligence where we prompted ChatGPT to provide us with an article and information about Artificial Intelligence for our newsletter. AI is advancing rapidly and holds promise in revolutionizing various industries, from healthcare to finance to transportation. However, it also raises ethical concerns about privacy, bias in decision-making, and the future of work as some jobs may be automated. Overall, AI represents a significant technological leap with profound implications for society.

Lemonade, a simple yet refreshing beverage, boasts a surprisingly rich history and some fun facts. It originated in ancient Egypt, with records of a lemon and sugar drink called "qatarmizat" dating back to 500 AD. Pink lemonade, a popular variation, has roots in the circus, with stories involving red tights or cinnamon candles. Additionally, lemonade stands, a symbol of childhood summers, first appeared in Brooklyn streetcars in 1873. Lemonade is enjoyed worldwide, with variations in preparation and ingredients. Some examples include Parisian lemonade, Turkish lemonade, and even lemonade made with cold brew coffee.

Step 1: In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Step 2: Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant, but not browned. Step 3: Add the sliced zucchini to the skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5-7 minutes until zucchini is tender and lightly golden. Step 4: Sprinkle the dried thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper over the zucchini. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes. Step 5: Remove from heat and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve warm as a side dish or over rice for a quick and healthy meal.
Bratwurst, a traditional German sausage, dates back to the 14th century. The term "bratwurst" is derived from the German words "brät" (finely chopped meat) and "wurst" (sausage). Significant dates include the first known mention in Nuremberg in 1313 and its introduction to the U.S. in the early 20th century by German immigrants. By the mid-20th century, bratwurst became popular at American barbecues and sporting events, cementing its place in culinary tradition.
