September is Suicide Awareness Month, which is why we would like to share information about a local effort taking place called theZero Suicide Initiative– a collaboration of the Zero Suicide Institute and the Quad Cities Behavioral Health Coalition. The Zero Suicide Initiative uses an evidence-based intervention framework designed to assist those at risk in our community by preventing deaths, increasing community awareness, and involving all community members as potential responders.
