How long does this last? Student is assigned 3 Structured Days and 3 after school detentions. Student must complete the Accountability Project. If student follows all expectations AND gets the Accountability Project done, they will earn a day back and won’t need to serve the third day. If student does not follow all expectations, another day gets added…and another…and another.

Starting next week, we will be rolling out a new system of outcomes when it comes to some of our behavior referrals. We have seen an increase in the amount of behaviors that could be categorized under: defiance, disrespect, and disruptions to classrooms. Because of this, we will start assigning three Structured Days, three hour long after school detentions, and an Accountability Project assigned to students who are showing major behavioral concerns.
What is a Structured Day? Alternative passing time Pass after the bell when hallways are clear No cafeteria during lunch or recess Eat lunch in 442 No before/after school outside – go office Eat breakfast during announcements No free time or work time in class Report to 442 Catch up on class work Detention with administration for three days An hour long Complete work Accountability project
