When Hard Comes Before Easy... If learning always felt easy, it wouldn't be learning at all! We call this the Learning Dip. The dip happens when we are stretching our brains with new skills or concepts. It's normal to feel less confident, make mistakes and be a little frustrated. It means real learning is happening. Progress is often messy before it looks successful. The best learning happens on the other side of the struggle. Embrace the Dip!
A Note From the Principal
The sunshine is peeking through the clouds as we welcome Spring back to Stewart. March is a great time to remind our students that mistakes are part of learning, kindness matters, and showing up ready to try is what truly counts. Thank you for your continued support and partnership. Let's keep the momentum going as we hop into spring. Sincerely, Deanna Carpenter, Principal

As we move into the spring months, consistent attendance remains essential for student success. Missing even a few days of school can make it more difficult for students to stay on track academically and socially. This is a great time to refresh daily routines such as consistent bedtimes, morning preparations and transportation plans to help students finish the year strong. While spring often brings busy schedules and changing routines, making school attendance a daily priority makes a meaningful impact. If your family is experiencing challenges with attendance, please reach out so we can work together to support your student.
