This is the first in our series themed Partnering for Divine Manifestation. The series is aimed at helping us understand God’s desire for His Children to manifest His glory in the world through partnerships. Divine manifestation is the visible expression of God’s life at work in and through His people. This first topic is themed Partnering with God. Partnering involves two or more parties engaged together in the same activity. Partnering with God therefore involves engaging with God to do the things that matter to God. Partnering with Him takes us from the realm of the natural to the supernatural and from impossibility to possibility. For partnering with God to be effective, it is imperative that we understand some truths. Agreement with God is essential, divine manifestation stems out of human obedience and divine power and being rooted in God sustains manifestation. Furthermore, partnership happens through faith-driven action and shared mission which unlocks the power of divine partnership. Meditation: Amos 3:3; I Cor. 3:5-11; Nehemiah 1:4–11; 2:17–20; 4:6; Ps.1:1-3
Week 2: Spousal Partnership
This is the second in our series themed Partnering for Divine Manifestation. The series is aimed at helping us understand God’s desire for His Children to manifest His glory in the world through partnerships. Divine manifestation is the visible expression of God’s life at work in and through His people. This second topic is themed spousal partnership. Partnering involves two or more parties engaged together in the same activity. Spousal partnership enables divine manifestation because God often chooses unity, agreement, and shared purpose as the channel through which His power, wisdom, and purposes are revealed. Scripture consistently shows that when husband and wife walk together in alignment with God, their union becomes a platform for visible expressions of God’s grace, fruitfulness, and impact—both within the home and beyond it. Meditation: Amos 3:3; Gen. 2:24; Acts 18:1-4; 18-28; Matt. 18:19; 1 Peter 3:7
Our series themed Partnering for Divine Manifestation is aimed at helping us understand God’s desire for His Children to manifest His glory in the world through partnerships. Divine manifestation is the visible expression of God’s life at work in and through His people. This is the third in this series and is themed Partnering with the brethren. Partnering involves two or more parties engaged together in the same activity. For partnership to succeed amongst brethren, it must begin with shared alignment and purpose where the agreement fosters mutual encouragement and guidance amongst other things. It must also recognise that partnership is God’s strategy for mission and impact. Jesus deliberately chose team ministry. By sending the seventy out in pairs, He demonstrated that the work of the Kingdom is best advanced through shared labour, mutual support, and collective authority. Each pair carried accountability, encouragement, and a shared witness. Partnering amongst brethren must however be Spirit-led such that it strengthens witness and endurance. Therefore, whether in ministry, marriage, academia, or professional life, believers who walk together endure pressure better and witness more effectively. Meditation: Amos 3:3; Luke 10:1-12; Psalm 133:1–3; Acts 13:1-3; Heb. 10:24–25
Week 3: Partnering with the Brethren
Our series themed Partnering for Divine Manifestation is aimed at helping us understand God’s desire for His Children to manifest His glory in the world through partnerships. Divine manifestation is the visible expression of God’s life at work in and through His people. Partnering involves two or more parties engaged together in the same activity and this is the fourth and final topic in this series and is themed Partnering with Friends and Associates. The Scriptures reveals through Prophet Amos that agreement is the gateway to divine action. However, such actions often requires God-ordained alignment between people who share a: common vision, unified conviction, compatible spiritual posture. Indeed, when friends and associates are aligned in purpose, God releases momentum and whilst disagreement fractures authority; agreement multiplies impact. Furthermore, through Nehemiah’s story, we learn that partnership can be with authorities (vertical) and with contemporaries (horizontal). When vertical and horizontal partnerships are in place, it yields strength that allows us to overcome all forms of opposition. In all, divine manifestation multiplies through complementary gifts and partnership guards against isolation and error. Meditation: Amos 3:3; Neh. 2:1-20; Psalm 133:1–3; Rom. 12:4–8; Heb. 10:24–25
