Our New Location
STOREHOUSE Clothing, Shoes, Household Essentials
Our Mission is to use our resources to the maximum extent to touch lives with Christ’s love and caring. Agencies refer individuals and families in need to us and we distribute donated clothing, kitchenware and linens as well as books and toys free of charge. Your high quality donations are welcome throughout the year. For anyone struggling to create a living space with essential household items and clothing, the Storehouse is here to help.

The Storehouse is now open in our new Community Outreach Center. We are located on the second floor of 1010 East Avenue, the red-brick building next to the church. The main entrance and parking are in the back of the building from East Avenue. In our new location, we are thrilled to offer a fully-accessible shopping experience for our clients, and a more streamlined sorting area for our volunteers. This is all possible from the generosity of our members and the community. Thank you for your continued support.

Donations
Families and individuals are sent to us by more than 400 different social service agencies, churches, schools, health care facilities, and halfway houses. We serve more than 4,000 individuals a year. Clients come by appointment only, with a letter of referral from an advocate who has personal knowledge of their needs. We apportion clothing, which the clients may choose themselves, and use limits for linens and kitchenware. This facilitates fair and equal distribution for all donations according to need. Clients frequently comment on how helpful this service is to them.

WISH LIST
More than 75 Volunteers from Asbury First, area churches and our community staff the Storehouse. The volunteers serve as sorters, clerks, and receptionists. Others gather materials for us from hotels, consignment shops, and garage sales.
We are dependent on churches and community support for our supplies and funding. In addition to clothing, kitchenware, and linens, we stock children’s books, games, and toys. All articles should be clean and in good condition. New volunteers are always welcomed. If you would like to volunteer or have any questions about donations, you may contact the Storehouse during the hours we are open at 585-271-1050 x137, or email at your convenience at asburystorehouse@asburyfirst.org.
To drop off donations, you can deposit them in the small brick building in front of the main entrance. A receipt for tax purposes is available upon request at the time you donate. (Please note that we are not able to accept furniture.)
