The Dining & Caring Center is now open in our new Community Outreach Center. We are located on the lower level of 1010 East Avenue, the red-brick building next to the church, on the Asbury First campus. The main entrance and parking are in the back of the building. In our new fully-accessible location, we offer in-person dining for our neighbors, as well as an updated hair care, shower, and laundry area. This is all possible thanks to the generosity of our members and the community. Thank you for your continued support.

Dining & caring Center Hot Meals, Showers, Laundry Services, Hair Care
The Asbury Dining & Caring Center (DCC) was established in 1993. In the beginning, we offered a soup-and-sandwich Sunday lunch and served eight people on our first day. Over the years this ministry has expanded to a full-course Sunday lunch, plus hot breakfast three days a week, all served by volunteers. Before the pandemic, we served more than 35,000 meals a year to people in need. We have restarted in-person meals, and have added laundry, hair care services, and showers. Two years after serving our first meal, we expanded our ministry to assist our neighbors in finding work and in meeting other needs. This led us to our bicycle ministry and other services. The DCC is staffed by volunteers from Asbury First, other faith communities, Scouts, as well as other service organizations and individuals.
