It all started with Take Action Apparel & Gear. With first-hand knowledge that bullying has become a serious epidemic in schools across the nation, Gabriel L. Silva wanted to help give kids like him a voice! "I was a victim of repeated bullying. I am small for my age and kids would make fun of me for my size. Eventually, the verbal turned physical. I know that not everyone is going to like me, and I am actually okay with that. But disliking and mistreating someone physically, verbally, or emotionally for basically being different and not taking the opportunity to get to know them for who they are, is not okay. I had an opportunity to travel to LA for pilot season, when I came home, I found out that three of my friends had had an even harder time than I did at school. I knew what they were feeling, but I was helpless to help them. I wanted to do something. So, we got together with a group of experts and some really cool designers to create Take Action Apparel & Gear." Fast forward through time, and as a result of Take Action Apparel & Gear, Action Magazine was born, giving a worldwide platform for both adults and kids in the industry, who are passionate about taking a stance against bullying, a place to share their stories. Effects on children that either are the bully or that are being bullied go well beyond the school day and sometimes last a lifetime. Students who are bullied sometimes resort to suicide and the bullies often find themselves incarcerated by the time that they are adults. "Action Magazine is a great way to showcase amazing talent within the industry, while at the same time, giving them an opportunity to let kids know that they are not alone and help them to feel empowered. I found my voice through acting/modeling and practicing Tae Kwon Do, I stopped focusing on the negative and was able to discover the positive in me. If we help just one by sharing our stories, then Action Magazine is doing what we have created it to do."

What are five things that you can't live without? 1: My family, faith, and pets, 2: My close friends, 3: My guitar/ukulele, 4: Music, 5: Birria Tacos What's your life's motto or advice that you live by? When one door closes, another one opens. What's your favorite color? Navy Blue What is your favorite movie? Revenge of the Sith What is your favorite TV show? Currently, You on Netflix Do you have any pets? If so, what kind and what's their name? Yes, I have three. A bird (cockatiel), whose name is Khoie, is 22-years-old and the boss of the pets. Duke, my dog, is 12-years-old, and Tommy, my cat, is 5-years-old. What is your favorite place that you've traveled to? The Big Island of Hawaii. It’s so beautiful there, friendly folks, feels like home. What is your favorite food? Birria Tacos! If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, who would it be with and why? I would love to have dinner with my late grandmother. She passed away when I was 6; I remember she was wonderful, kind, and loved to eat. If only she were here today, and if I could have a dinner with her now at this age, we would eat our favorite foods and our conversations would go on for hours. What inspired you to want to become an actor? My moms’ side of the family has always been in the arts. I took inspiration from that and decided to try stage performing at around 7-years-old. Over break, no theatres were open, so on the weekends I would watch some of my favorite shows. One evening, the thought of being on television sparked into my head, and the rest is history! Ever since then I’ve loved every second of it. What is the most difficult thing about being an actor? It can be very busy at times, but love every minute of it! You are are also a theater actor. Tell us what is the hardest and best thing about acting in the theater as opposed to on screen? What makes them special is that they’re similar but different in many aspects. The thrill when performing on stage in front of a live audience and seeing the audience smiles is one of the best feelings on stage. Being able to experience the different cuts and takes of the cameras onscreen is amazing and rewarding. The industry is full of rejection. What is your advice on how to handle it? Challenges are always going to be present in this industry. It is an excellent way to except it and turn it into motivation. As actors, we always work on our craft, whether on set or off set. Even if some auditions don’t go through, never give up. If you could write the perfect role for yourself, what would it be and why? I’d always imagined playing a teenager in a movie about the end of the world, or something apocalyptic. I’ve read many books surrounding that genre, so it’s what I’m most familiar with. You are also a voiceover actor. Tell us how you got started doing voiceovers? Throughout my journey in the acting industry, I was recommended by industry professionals to try voiceover. Being told that my voice sounds older for my age, they saw it as an advantage. I’ve been doing voiceover work for about a year now, it’s one of the most amazing fields of work I’ve experienced and so fun to portray various characters. As a voiceover actor, how would you like to see this particular aspect of your career grow? To voice a video game character would be pretty cool. In addition to all that you do, what other things are you are passionate about? (charity work, volunteering, etc.) Can you tell us about this work and why do you feel that it is it important? I have been blessed serving at my church as a Youth Worship Member in 5th grade and recently as a Youth Group Host and with other world organizations and ministries. Volunteering is a rewarding experience. Even the smallest acts of service can make a difference in the lives of people, animals and organizations. Who is your favorite actor/actress and why? Keanu Reeves and Ralph Macchio have always been my favorites. I love both the Matrix and Karate Kid franchises; they are awesome! How would you describe your fashion style? I suppose it depends on the day/season. I like comfortable casual wear. Who are some of your favorite people in the entertainment industry that you have worked with? Each set that I have been on, every single person had so much talent with different backstories. Getting to know each person individually and building a friendship is always amazing. That’s my favorite. What advice would you give other kids that want to follow in your footsteps? It’s never too late. If you have the passion to be onstage or in front of the camera or voiceover, go for it! This career takes commitment, so if you feel ready, put in the work, and see how rewarding it is. Just keep going, keep doing, keep learning, and never give up on your goals and dreams. What is one thing that nobody knows about you? One thing would probably be that I like to garden and hydroponic planting. What can we expect to see from you in the future? I don’t know what the future may hold, but I will say I will continue to dedicate myself fully and strive to give it my all in my acting journey. If you could talk to your future self, what would you tell him? Ask him for advice, but without spoiling the future. That way, I can still learn and build experience. Is there anything else that you would you like to share with our audience? Thank you for reading my article! Your support means so much! I appreciate each and every one of you. If you make some killer birria tacos, let me know! haha. Thank you so much for having me, Action Magazine! It has been an amazing time

What are five things that you can't live without? Lip Gloss. Integrity. Nature. My fur babies. My dowsing rods. What's your life's motto or advice that you live by? It’s as easy as you allow it or hard as you make it! and Just say YES! What's your favorite color? Burgundy (this week) What is your favorite movie? The Wizard of Oz What is your favorite TV show? Ghost Adventures of course! Do you have any pets? If so, what kind and what's their name? Yes! A Doxie named Willow and a Calico cat named Gracie. They are best of friends! What is your favorite place that you've traveled to? Oooh - that a tough one. I do get to travel to amazing places… It is a tie between the Hoia Baciu Forrest in Romania, Cradle Mountain in Tasmania/Australia and the Greek Islands. What is your favorite food? Chocolate. If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, who would it be with and why? Stevie Nicks. She’s an Icon. Can you share your journey of discovering your psychic abilities? How did it begin? What was your first experience with intuition or psychic phenomena, and how did it shape your path? I was just a toddler! Most of my friends were in the spirit world! I loved them. I though everybody had and could see them. I do think most kids are born with the gift - it just gets taught out of us in our modern, non- mystical, all logic/left brained focused Western society. It taught me to develop my intuition and creativity along with my logical left brain - which opens up the whole world. How do you protect yourself spiritually when engaging with the spirit world? Intention, awareness and boundaries is number one. I also work a lot with sigils and symbols, herbs, oils, sounds, natures elements and most every kind of magick! Have you faced skepticism or criticism from others regarding your abilities? How do you handle that? Of course I have. It goes with the territory. I just thank them for their concern and assure them that I am fine - and that it’s perfectly okay to have differing belief systems and realities! How do you view the relationship between psychic abilities and spirituality? Are they connected for you? They are one and the same. Completely connected. Psychic ability without spirituality is like a boat without a rudder. Spirituality is a road map to navigate our gifts and your life. You are also an author. Tell us how you got started writing. A psychic told me I would be known for my writing when I was in grade school. I laughed at the thought being English, writing and grammar were my worst and least favorite subjects in school. I guess she was right! I started writing after years of working one-o-one sessions with people and finding myself repeating my suggestions and ideas over and over about how to easily navigate and empower your life. I figured if I wrote it in a book - I wouldn't have to repeat it so often - and thus my first book “Old World Magick For The Modern World - tips, tricks and techniques to balance, empower and create a life you love” was born! What is the most challenging aspect of being a writer? Creating time to do it in my busy, ever-traveling, owning 3 companies crazy life! In addition to all that you do, what other things are you are passionate about? (charity work, volunteering, etc.) Can you tell us about this work and why do you feel that it is it important? Yes, I have always been active with non profit work. Supporting the arts by working with the Hollywood Arts Council for years - starting with bringing art into our grade schools (which improves math and writing skills) - to working with DES Action a Women’s health advocacy group. Who is your favorite actor/actress and why? Hmmmm…. I really don’t have a favorite (or the Libra in me won’t let me pick just one) - I love actors and the creative arts of all kinds. How would you describe your fashion style? Witchy, Goth, Mary Poppins. Who are some of your favorite people in the entertainment industry that you have worked with? A work with a lot of Hollywood celebrities that I absolutely love and admire - but my work is very confidential - so I just can’t tell you! What advice would you give other kids that want to follow in your footsteps? Just go for it. If you really want it - crank it up to 120% - that's when the magick happens. What is one thing that nobody knows about you? Dang, that’s a tough one - I am such an open book. Maybe that I have the worlds worst sense of direction (though that is pretty public as well!) What can we expect to see from you in the future? I have a new book coming out from Lewellyn on Haunted Dolls and magical poppets. I have a TV project in the works - and lots more travel and events! If you could talk to your past self, what would you tell her? Trust yourself more. Jump in with both feet. Is there anything else that you would you like to share with our audience? Your life is what you make it, make it what you want!

What are five things that you can't live without? I think right now I'm definitely addicted to my laptop and my phone, and not in the ways that I think most people are, but I think I'm just constantly checking out stories and constantly seeing what's going on online to make sure that I can find good stories to talk about. And lately I've been very into making sure I have really nice clothes, so I have been trying to hoard a lot of different clothes and if I don't like them, sell them. Of course my laptop and my phone come into play there. I also absolutely need to have hamburgers and French fries, so I think those are definitely my last two things. What's your life's motto or advice that you live by? If you don't speak up, you don't eat. This was actually a quote that was given to me by a lunch lady when I was lining up to get food and she was asking me which food I wanted and I was kind of struggling to say it and then she told me this. She of course likely meant it in a more literal sense, or maybe she didn't, I don't really know. But this quote can be applied to anything throughout life. What's your favorite color? I don't know if I have one. I think I've been wearing a lot of black lately, so perhaps black is my favorite color lately. What is your favorite movie? As of right now, my favorite movie is definitely Wicked. I think I loved watching it, I loved everything about it, and I'm looking forward to Part 2 when it comes out. What is your favorite TV show? My all time favorite TV show in general has to be limitless. So not the movie, but the TV show. It actually felt like someone died or that I had lost a best friend when I finished all the episodes. Do you have any pets? If so, what kind and what's their name? I don't have any pets right now. I actually used to have blood red parrot fish. These are not normal fish by the way, you can actually train them to do tricks. They are, I believe, lab mate fish. They can live up to 10 years, they can grow pretty big and they're very intelligent, very smart fish. And I had about 10 of them because I was told that I have to buy 10 because only five of them will stick. But actually all ten of them remained alive and we actually had to give them away because it was a bit much to take care of them. They're pretty high maintenance. I named them 1 through 10. So one fish was named 1, the other fish was named 2, and so on. People would ask me how I knew which one was one and which one was two. I didn't. They would always change names. What is your favorite place that you've traveled to? I wish to travel more. I definitely haven't traveled a lot recently, but Taiwan was really cool and I hope to go to tropical places in the future. What is your favorite food? Probably hamburgers and French fries. And then of course a coke. But honestly, I'm actually not a very picky eater and when I'm hungry I'll pretty much eat anything. If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, who would it be with and why? I would love to have dinner with Mark Cuban and any of the really successful entrepreneurs. I would love to pick their brain and really ask them a bunch of questions about some of the decisions that they've made and why they did that. And of course, that would then help me decide how I should approach my life and what I should do. What inspired you to start creating content? There were creators that I really enjoyed watching and they were creators that I thought I could make content similar to. So for example, I was very into Jenna Marbles and Ryan Higa, but these were not people that if you look at my content today, you would ever guess would be someone that I would enjoy watching. I don't think there were any particular creators that inspired my work or inspired me to create. I think I really wanted to create ever since I was a little kid, and then they were creators that existed that made me feel like I could do it. How did you decide on your niche, and how did you develop your unique voice online? I started in the new space with K pop. I was doing reaction videos because just like what I recommend all creators do when they first start is just throw spaghetti at the wall and see what sticks and when you're throwing spaghetti, it should be spaghetti that you actually enjoy making. And so I started with reaction videos because that's what I enjoyed watching and that's what was working. And then from there I got really into sort of people talking about the industry and the artists and all of these different types of videos and I thought why can't I try this and I decided to give that a try. From then I decided why can't I do more global news and talk about all different things from around the world and then I went into that avenue. What’s the most important aspect of engaging with your audience as a content creator? Understanding what people want to see from you and what you enjoy doing is a huge contributor to that. I do enjoy cultivating that community, but it's become really difficult to me given the current landscape of the world. A lot of people are very angry and sometimes they take it out on me. So it's become this balance where I would love to contribute more to creating a community, but I don't want to damage my mental health. You are also a digital journalist. Tell us how you got started with journalism? I have studied journalism in college and I know a lot of the aspects of what a journalist is supposed to do. I just enjoyed making videos and then I enjoyed the aspect of storytelling, so it made sense to go into journalism because it was a way that I could tell a story every single day. And then I get to be artistic in the way I tell a story and how I get to build suspense and how I get to create the imagery and all of that sort of stuff. How do you stay on top of breaking news in such a fast-paced digital environment? It's really important to go to the platform in which you're cultivating content for and the main platform that you're looking to create content for and doing research within that platform. Making sure you're up to date with all of the other creators that are on the platform that are within the same genre. Just seeing what other people are talking about and what stories are resonating with people within that community. And then creating content with your own unique spin on that story. How do you navigate the challenges of misinformation and fake news in the digital age? It's really difficult and sometimes I will clarify in a video that the things that are being said are all alleged. But I think there's a difference between misinformation and disinformation, where information that anyone could provide on the Internet could be considered misinformation if the news changes within 3 days and then that video still lives on your page with information from three days ago. But then disinformation is purposely trying to misinform people and create a lot of bad things around that. So I make sure that everything that I create that I at least say it at the end if this could be true or not or if the information would change. How do you leverage social media to promote your stories or connect with your audience? I don't think I'm using social media to leverage or promote the stories. I think social media itself is where I'm creating content for. So it's not like I'm creating content for a different site and then I'm using social media to promote that. I am specifically making content for social media. And for people within my genre and the audience there. So that makes it easier to connect with those people because I'm making content specifically for those people. In addition to all that you do, what other things are you are passionate about? (charity work, volunteering, etc.) Can you tell us about this work and why do you feel that it is it important? I used to think it wasn't as important to be involved in the community, and not just my own community, but the community at large. But I think it is important to be doing those things and be active. There is going to come a time when I'm unable to do social media anymore, and I would like to know that at least when I had social media and I was doing it, that I was at least trying to make a difference. Who is your favorite actor/actress and why? I would definitely say either Johnny Depp or Bradley Cooper 'cause I think both of them have done very different roles and their range is very big. I definitely see that as being a really skilled actor. Of course, Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande are both extremely talented as well, and after seeing Wicked, I am blown away at their talent. How would you describe your fashion style? I used to go for looks that I thought just looked good on me and now I am so over that. I want to go bigger and I want to definitely stand out with my fashion style. I would consider my fashion style now to be more avant-garde. Who are some of your favorite people in the industry that you have worked with? To be honest, I would like to collaborate a lot more with a lot more people and I hope in the future that would be a much longer list than what I have now, so I don't really know if I have a specific name for this question. What advice would you give other kids that want to follow in your footsteps? The job itself is not particularly hard. Like it's definitely not as hard as what a doctor or a nurse might have to go through, but it is very time consuming. Don't be lazy, really double check things, really look into things and really spend the time because I have talked to a lot of people who say they want to do something like this but then they invest maybe like an hour a day and it is going to be a lot more difficult to do that. Of course, a lot of people aren't going to have access to a lot of time when they're first starting because they may be in school or have a job or whatever. But for me personally, the only way I started actually growing and really started making money on social media was when I quit my 9 to 5. I'm not recommending everyone to do that, but it's just to show how much time I had to put into it to make it happen. And sometimes it still doesn't really happen. Haha. What is one thing that nobody knows about you? I can write with both hands. I think this is a talent that I haven't really talked about or shown anywhere. And yes, each hand has a different handwriting. What can we expect to see from you in the future? I'm hoping to release a card game in the future. I'm a little bit nervous to talk about it cuz I have talked about it a lot but I haven't been able to really push forward with it right now. Right now I am looking for the right manufacturing company and I just haven't found the right one yet. Hopefully I can launch that business soon and I'm definitely hoping to grow my career as an influencer and potentially as an actor one day. If you could talk to your future self, what would you tell him? I hope things are working out and I hope things are doing well. I would have never imagined my life being where it is now, even just a year ago. So I hope things still continue to grow and I hope the best day of this year is the worst day of any future year. Is there anything else that you would you like to share with our audience? Thank you so much for reading and enjoying this and thank you for Action Magazine for having me. If you want to follow me and check out new stories and keep up with current events then make sure you check me out on any social media platforms. I have them all. It is Dave Disci everywhere.

What are five things that you can't live without? Music, traveling, nature, animals, loyal people What's your life's motto or advice that you live by? Everything happens for a reason. What's your favorite color? Purple & Red What is your favorite movie? Ms Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children What is your favorite TV show? Friends Do you have any pets? If so, what kind and what's their name? One dog, he’s a Cocker Spaniel named Bailey. What is your favorite place that you've traveled to? Either Norway or Barcelona. What is your favorite food? Pasta If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, who would it be with and why? I would have to say The Weeknd, because he’s always been one of my biggest artistic and musical importations. I think the songwriting and production on his tracks are top notch and I’d love to hear about his personal process and journey. What inspired you to become a musician? My parents have been my biggest musical inspiration, because they’re classically trained musicians who are filled with knowledge and talent. I became interested in music very young because of them, and since the beginning of my journey they’ve been influential and supportive, guiding me and opening me up to new ideas. Where do you find inspiration for your music? Walk us through your creative process when starting a new project? I take inspiration from sounds I like by artists I listen to often, and I try to create my own version of the combination of things I enjoy listening to. I use personal experiences from my life to drive organic and powerful lyrics that I can sing with genuine passion. I always try to keep my music authentic and true to my real emotions and feelings. How would you describe your music? I would describe my music as storytelling and upbeat, keeping a steady rhythm while portraying a certain story or theme. I like my music to be written in a way that can be perceived by interpretation, meaning there’s no right or wrong way to listen to the song. What do you hope new listeners take away from your songs? I hope my new listeners are able to sit back and feel the beat when they listen to my music, emerging in the trance that music can provide you. All in all, I like my music to feel good, and I hope it does to my audience. You are also an actress. How did you get started acting? When I was a competitive dancer, a lot of my teammates were in the entertainment industry, and I was curious what it was all about. Naturally, I started acting classes and instantly fell in love with it. From there, I got representation and started the beginning of my film career. What is your favorite genre to portray and why? I’ve always loved theatrical scenes the most, as I’m able to go to deep places and explore new character development. Having emotional scenes can be really powerful and freeing for the soul, which I see as a creative outlet. If you could write the perfect role for yourself, what would it be and why? I think a perfect role that would be fun to portray would just be myself, but in new situations with new characters. I think bringing my natural personality traits to a show could be a fun exploration. What is the one “lesson learned” moment that you have had as both a musician and actress? I think my lesson learned moment was when I was at a point where I was putting too much pressure and stress on myself and I started to break down mentally. I realized that I can’t do what I do and stay creative and focused if I don’t take care of myself mentally. Mental as well as physical health come first, and they need to always maintain a priority. In addition to all that you do, what other things are you are passionate about?(charity work, volunteering, etc.) Can you tell us about this work and why do you feel that it is it important? I think charity is one of the few things that have brought a certain sense of bliss to me. Knowing I’m doing something for a good cause and potentially contributing to the help of many people, feels really special. I’ve volunteered for various different organizations, but I’m in the process of taking part in more and helping make a difference little by little. Who is your favorite actor/actress and why? Some top actors that come to my mind would be Robert Deniro, Tom Hanks, Morgan Freeman, Scarlett Johansson, & Angelina Jolie. These are some of the incredible actors/ actresses I love, because of how thoroughly they execute every character. They’re so engaging with their eyes and can captivate an audience instantly. Their work is brilliant and actors like them are an inspiration to me. How would you describe your fashion style? My style can be a bit all over the place depending on the setting which I’m attending. I like to dress on the fancier side for events, but when I’m not at events I dress more cozy and casual. I’ve been loving ugg’s and leg warmers this season, and I love winter fashion in general. I’m big on accessories and all things fuzzy. Who are some of your favorite people in the entertainment industry that you have worked with? My favorite person who’s produced all my music since the beginning is Andrew Lane. He’s such a phenomenal musician and can produce with such expertise. At this point, Drew is like family to me, and I will continue to look up to him and work with him. What advice would you give other kids that want to follow in your footsteps? My biggest piece of advice would be, don’t let negative sets back hold you back from getting what you know you want. Life can be challenging, but it’s about not letting those challenges stop you. Remember why you started and work smarter, not harder. (Well, do both.) What is one thing that nobody knows about you? When I was 4-years-old, I had straight cut thick bangs and a bob haircut. What can we expect to see from you in the future? A lot more music and collaborations, social media content, and new and upcoming acting projects! If you could talk to your future self, what would you tell her? I would ask her, did we accomplish what we wanted to? And if not, how can we get there? Life isn’t just about having things accomplished, but enjoying the process of accomplishing them. Is there anything else that you would you like to share with our audience? My soundtrack “Looking For Love” is now a part of the new film The Man in The White Van, in theaters now. In addition to the that, I have soundtracks in the films Step Aside, and Dance Rivals, both available on Amazon Prime. Huge thank you for the continued love and support, I wouldn’t be where I am without you guys.

What are five things that you can't live without? I need some kind of camera, phone or otherwise. I’m big on documenting memories, so this is an absolute must. The next thing that comes to mind is a notepad! I always write down ideas for creative projects and love to doodle. This one is obvious but I need my friends and family. I also cannot live without a good variety of snacks or delicious meals. And lastly, some kind of computer so I can get work done. What's your life's motto or advice that you live by? I have so many! The first couple that come to mind are Be undeniable, and, Do dope stuff with dope people. The first is one I decided a long time ago. If I say that I am something, or that I will do something, I better be taking steps to be or do that thing. People like to talk big but don’t follow through. I want to be able to walk into any room, or meet any person, and feel confidence that whatever I present matches who I am. That means honing my skills, staying practiced, and always learning more. The latter motto is pretty obvious, but I’ve found no greater joy in life than making fun stuff with my friends. If I can keep finding ways to facilitate that in my life, I know I will be happy. What's your favorite color? Midnight blue. What is your favorite movie? This is a HUGE question and it’s always in flux. To name a few: Hot Fuzz, Old boy, Scott Pilgrim vs The World, RRR, Kill Bill (Both Volumes), Hook, Interstellar…the list grows more each year. For something this year? Probably Nosferatu! What is your favorite TV show? I’m a sucker for an easy-watch comedy. I love New Girl, The Office, Parks and Rec, The Good Place, Community, and Abbott Elementary. I also LOVE Breaking Bad, Sherlock, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and most of Game of Thrones. Again, an impossible question to limit to one answer! Do you have any pets? If so, what kind and what's their name? There’s a family dog back home in San Jose and his name is RJ! He’s a mixed, fluffy, white pup with a ton of energy and named RJ due to my Mom’s deep love for BTS. What is your favorite place that you've traveled to? I’ve been lucky enough to travel a bit throughout my life. The first places that come to mind are Singapore, The Philippines, and New York. All of them hold such a special place in my heart. What is your favorite food? I love a good burger. I could eat Korean, Mexican, or Japanese cuisine everyday. And of course I have to represent Filipino and Indian food. I grew up with some major flavor in the household because of my parents! If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, who would it be with and why? As an actor, I’d love to sit down with Robert Downey Jr. I love his story and his charisma, not to mention his incredible talent. From a filmmaker's perspective, it has to be Edgar Wright. He is my favorite director, and I think I’d be in for such a fun conversation with him. I’d have to restrain myself from asking too many questions about his work. What inspired you to become an actor? I think I always knew I wanted to be an actor, despite repressing that feeling throughout my life. I was a shy kid, but I absorbed so much media and pop culture that helped shape me. From cartoons, to classic cinema and rambunctious comedies, I’ve always been drawn into the entertainment world. I just loved the idea of playing in different worlds and living different and unique lives. As I got older, it just became more apparent that it’s who I needed to be. I love the journey. Even when it’s hard, I feel so fulfilled being on this path. What has been the one role that you could relate to the most? I’ve been lucky that so many roles I’ve gotten to play have been extensions of my own personality. I think one of the recent roles that has really stuck with me is my part in the short film “Out of Time.” I don’t often get a chance to be the leading man, but David gave me that. He struggles with work-life balance, so focused on the task at hand and making progress that he doesn’t realize the beautiful life he already has. When confronted with great loss, his sole focus becomes rectifying what he has lost. He was vulnerable but funny. Charming, but in pain. I just loved the process, and the fact I got to contribute to the writing of the short just adds another layer of why he’s so special to me. If you could write the perfect role for yourself, what would it be and why? My dream role is a leading man in a Sci-Fi. I want to be in space and to get into some action. I recall my love for shows like Firefly or Doctor Who and can’t help but covet living in those kinds of worlds. I love any project that has a heightened reality - whether that be through technology or the supernatural. I also have always wanted to play a villain, but I’m told I’d be too sweet for it. There’s a part of me that would love to show that side of my ability as well! You are also an entertainment journalist/host. Tell us how you got started doing this? It all started with me going out on my own with a camera and a pair of helping hands at events and conventions and speaking to strangers for my old Youtube channel. Through that experience, I honed my skills as a host and created a strong reel that showcased my ability to adapt to different personalities in the moment. From there, it was all about finding a home for these skills. I found jobs as a video producer for multiple outlets, and through my freelancing, gained an incredible network that has allowed me some amazing opportunities over time. I’ve worked on everything from branded content for studios, moderating live events and panels, to a multitude of press junkets. I always knew I wanted to host in some capacity, so the fact that I get paid to do it now is super validating. What has been your most memorable interview to date? There are so many notable interviews but I will always hold a special place for my interview with Harrison Ford. It was for his film The Call of the Wild. He is one of the most intimidating people I’ve ever met, but he also was very sweet, and I was in such awe of being able to share space with him. I also got to see him order his lunch that day: Sashimi, shishito peppers, and a nice Japanese beer. I’ll never forget that day and the wisdom he shared. Additionally, you are a filmmaker. Tell us how you got started behind he camera? My journey into filmmaking goes hand in hand with my hosting and acting journey. I love playing characters, but being able to craft my own stories and have them become tangible projects has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I’m a big “idea guy.” What better way to utilize this quality than to tell stories and lean into my natural desire to be a storyteller? I went to college for digital filmmaking and video production, and with that exposure to what a set felt like, I just took off from there. What is the one genre of filmmaking that you have not tackled but is on your radar? I mentioned this earlier, but Sci-Fi is a big one for me. Some of my biggest dream projects I’ve been ideating have been in the genre, but it’s much harder to pull it off as an indie filmmaker. If I ever get a good budget for the genre, then I’d be elated to tackle it! In addition to all that you do, what other things are you are passionate about? (charity work, volunteering, etc.) Can you tell us about this work and why do you feel that it is it important? I have been an outspoken advocate for the AAPI community for most of my adult life. My culture and Asian background has been something I did not embrace in my youth. As I’ve grown, I realize how important it’s been for me to stay connected to my culture, and to speak up for my community in both personal and professional circumstances. I’ve led conversations about representation in media, started a podcast that focuses on POC talent, and continue to find new and exciting ways to put my people on the map through pop culture. Who is your favorite actor/actress and why? I mentioned him prior, but my favorite actor may be Robert Downey Jr. He has a charisma that really resonates with me. I love that his aura shines so bright, and his performances never miss. I’m always in awe of the balance he finds between being charming and snarky, funny and dramatic. I also greatly admire how he was able to bounce back from his personal struggles to become one of the most iconic talents of our time. How would you describe your fashion style? If it makes me feel good, I’m happy! I dig a good silhouette, good layers, and feeling like a million bucks. I love trying new things too! I’m all about an all-black fit, but can rock any color with confidence. It doesn’t matter if I’m rocking a suit or a cool jacket in jeans, it just has to make me feel good when I have it on. Who are some of your favorite people in the entertainment industry that you have worked with? I’ve been lucky to meet some amazing collaborators in this line of work. The first that comes to mind is my good friend Samantha K. Tan. She is such a brilliant mind with a work ethic to match, and I feel so valued and confident working alongside her. I also have to shout out my Tremendous Talk fam, especially Ashley Rapuano Sanchez! She’s got a mind that works on overdrive, and I admire the passion she has for the work we do together. And of course, my Producer from Hollywood First Look, Kiyra Lynn. When I was struggling in the industry, Kiyra not only gave me opportunities to work, but became a mentor I could confide in and learn from. I owe a lot to these amazing women, and so many more! I could write a book full of names of people I’ve met along the way that have just made me a better man. What advice would you give other kids that want to follow in your footsteps? My biggest pieces of advice for anyone, in any industry, is to just try. If you are sure you’re meant to do something, that you are good at something, don’t give up. It’s simple advice, but you’d be surprised by how many talented people I’ve seen give up and walk away despite their passion and interest. It may not happen tomorrow, and that’s okay. I recall a quote from Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D,“Thesteps you take don’t have to be big. They just have to lead you in the right direction.” Keep pushing and making yourself better, and one day, the World will take notice. What is one thing that nobody knows about you? It’s funny, I think the thing that surprises people most about me is how anxious and insecure I can be. From the outside, I have a shining confidence and carry myself well, but deep down, I’m still working on loving myself. It’s a lifelong journey to always try to be better, but I don’t often showcase those more vulnerable moments. That said, acting has provided a great catharsis to confront those feelings. Oh, and therapy, of course. What can we expect to see from you in the future? Just expect more! I have big plans for myself in the realms of hosting, acting, and filmmaking, and I don’t plan on slowing down anytime soon. I’ve always been a big dreamer, and I feel like I’m at a point in my life that I can make many of those dreams come true. Stay tuned because we’re cooking behind the scenes! If you could talk to your future self, what would you tell him? I would tell my future self that I’m proud of myself and where I am in the present. I wouldn’t ask too many questions about who we’ve become or what we’ve accomplished, but I think it would be an interesting exercise to express my dreams and hopes to a version of myself that may or may not have achieved them. I’d tell him that I can’t wait to see what our life is like in his future, and that no matter how hard it gets, I’ll get there too. Is there anything else that you would you like to share with our audience? I’m often burdened with the thought that my line of work isn’t important. I’m not saving lives here. But I think everyone plays a role in this world. What I do brings joy, entertainment, and escape to people who may need it. That in itself is special. Whatever it is that YOU do, however it is you impact the people around you, I think it’s important to know that you are important. The lives you touch will feel the ripple of your love and influence in many ways. Believe that what you’re doing matters, because you matter.

What are five things that you can't live without? Music, comfortable shoes, my eye glasses, sleep, and good friends What's your life's motto or advice that you live by? Rejection is protection. What's your favorite color? Red, Purple, Blue What is your favorite movie? Too many to name, but here are some I love… Anchorman, Private Benjamin, Something’s Gotta Give, Barbie, Superman II (with Christopher Reeve), Wicked, Zero Dark Thirty, Step Brothers, Mean Girls, and many more What is your favorite TV show? Too many to name, but here are some I love… Friends, Grey’s Anatomy, all things Law & Order, Matlock, NCIS: Origins, Ted Lasso, Yellowstone, Landman, Mayor of Kingstown, and so many more Do you have any pets? If so, what kind and what's their name? I have a dog name Poppy. She’s a Maltipoo. What is your favorite place that you've traveled to? New York City What is your favorite food? Mexican What inspired you to pursue a career as an actress? When I was 13 my dad died suddenly and watching television was my escape. I decided I was going to grow up and be on TV. What is the most rewarding part of bringing a character to life? I love making small discoveries about my character’s past when preparing to film and then seeing how those inform the character’s present choices when the cameras roll. If you could write the perfect role for yourself, what would it be and why? I’d love to do a a comedy with Tina Fey. I’d like to play her southern cousin in something really over the top goofy. You are also a producer. Tell us how you got started producing? I got into producing because I wanted to create my own content. It was a way for me to keep moving forward creatively without having to wait on someone to offer me a job. How do you balance the creative and business aspects of producing a project? I try to surround myself with people that can be good partners and share responsibilities. What is one of the most difficult challenges you’ve faced as a producer, and how did you address it? Finding funding for projects is the biggest challenge and I think I’m addressing it by getting out and meeting people that want to invest in female creators. Your must current project is the True Texas Crime podcast. Tell us all about it! Why should we all tune-in? My podcast is about Angela Stevens, a girl I knew from school in my hometown. Angela was murdered in 1988 by three boys from my school and I also knew one of them. When Angela was killed people seemed more upset that the boys ruined their lives than Angela losing hers. I think it’s a good one to listen to because the stories of the past can help us learn to do better in the present and future. Female victims specially ones people consider imperfect are often not treated with respect. Also listening to Angela’s story is being part of giving her family some closure they felt they never had after her death. In addition to all that you do, what other things are you are passionate about? (charity work, volunteering, etc.) Can you tell us about this work and why do you feel that it is it important? I volunteer for a non-profit group called NoHo Home Alliance. We provide services for the unhoused community in my neighborhood three days a week. I think it’s really important that we all do what we can to help others. I am passionate about the work because I spent time from 2019-2020 without permanent housing, constantly moving. Thank goodness I was never on the street, but I know first hand how scary it can be to not have a place to go home to each night that you call your own. Who is your favorite actor/actress and why? I have so many favorites it’s hard to chose just one but some that are always top of mind are Jessica Chastain, Kelly Reilly, Ellen Pompeo,Viola Davis, and Markisa Hargitay. How would you describe your fashion style? Send help is how I would describe it. Who are some of your favorite people in the entertainment industry that you have worked with? I’ve had a fun, unique experience with each of my jobs. What advice would you give other kids that want to follow in your footsteps? I think it’s important to love what you do. If you want to be in TV and films then I hope you will watch many TV shows and films of the past and present. You can build you own path and do things differently, but I think knowing history is crucial to success. Also, never give up and don’t let someone else’s opinion define you. What is one thing that nobody knows about you? My lips are sealed. What can we expect to see from you in the future? I’m currently working on Season 2 of the True Texas Crime podcast and I’m out her auditioning for many TV/Film projects so you never know where I will pop up. If you could talk to your future self, what would you tell her? Relax and be in the present.

What are five things that you can't live without? 5 Things I can’t live without are well, 1. I can’t live without my relationship with Jesus because He is the reason why I am here. 2. I can’t live without music because it speaks so much to my heart and helps me speak the words that my heart feels. 3. I can’t live without my friends because they make me who I am, have made me so strong, and they make me smile. 4. I can’t live without my family because they are my stronghold. 5. I can’t live without being a voice for others. What's your life's motto or advice that you live by? If you can’t stand up, Stand Out ~ Angela Rockwood What's your favorite color? Purple What is your favorite movie? That’s a tough one!!! I just saw Wicked Part 1 and I have to say that’s my all time favorite right now. What is your favorite TV show? I love 911. Do you have any pets? If so, what kind and what's their name? I have a rescued 5-year-old deer head Chihuahua named Bambi that we adopted in January 2021. She is my whole world. I love being a dog Mom so much. What is your favorite place that you've traveled to? I haven't traveled much. but my dream destination is New York because I would love to see a live Broadway show. What is your favorite food? I love Mexican food. If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, who would it be with and why? I would love to have dinner with Winona Ryder because I have looked up to her for so long as an artist since I was 17. I would appreciate her outlook on growing up on set. She is so well-spoken as a performer and I truly admire her work ethic and charisma. You are an actor, made you want to start acting? I have always loved performing as a kid. My love for the camera started at the age of 4. My theater ambitions started at 12 when my parents took me to see the live production of The Miracle Worker and I took notice quickly that the actress who was playing Helen Keller was able-bodied playing a disabled character. I told my parents, I was going to change that one day. The rest is history. What is the most difficult thing about being an actor? I think the most difficult thing about being an actor, specifically with a disability, is the lack of disability representation in the media. So often, actors with disabilities don’t get to audition as much, and that’s what makes it so nerve-wracking to do a self-tape because we don’t get opportunities as much as the typical actor does. We have to be bigger and better than anyone else in the room AKA the self-tape. How do you prepare for auditions? Auditions are all about getting to perform and so what helps me is having a good mindset, (because there is so much rejection and you are auditioning so much) is I pray a lot, and I always tell Jesus that no matter what the outcome, I know He is sending me here to knock on the doors of casting to look at someone with a disability who wants to chase the dream. When I get submitted for a self-tape, whether it’s from my agents or my manager, I say to myself, “You did your job in the audition, and you did the best that you could, and just know that audition is a win itself.” I also have to remind myself that I am doing the auditions with a bigger purpose in mind and why I am doing it. If you could write the perfect role for yourself, what would it be and why? I would love to be on my own sitcom and play either a daughter or a sister. It would probably be on Hulu or Netflix. I would love for Brooke Shields to play my mom and John Stamos to play my Dad. I would call the show THE CRAZY BUNCH. You are also a model, truly “making Cerebral Palsy beautiful.” How did you get started modeling? I started modeling after booking Tommy Hilfiger Adaptive. From there, I have done modeling with Olivia Culpo and Brian Bowden Smith, and I would also love to do modeling for Target. On social media, It was important for me to showcase that having Cerebral Palsy can be beautiful. I want young girls who are in wheelchairs that they can be confident whether they are in their wheelchairs or their walkers. What has been your favorite brand to work with so far and why? I loved working with Tommy Hilfiger Adaptive because they are so open to disability. When I booked the commercial, I got to wear a Velcro jacket that was so easy to put on and I was so happy to do it on my own before we filmed. I got to meet so many wonderful people and it is just something that will always stay with me. As a model, what is the one thing about being a model that was a “lesson learned” moment? I think for me the lesson I've learned is not to worry about what other people think when you are modeling. I’ve learned that the camera is your friend and can be your biggest fan. When I am modeling, I always think, “Am I posing correctly? Is my hair the way I want it?” I’ve learned not to get in my head so much and to just let everything flow, and that is where the magic in the pictures happens. In addition to all that you do, what other things are you are passionate about? (charity work, volunteering, etc.) Can you tell us about this work and why do you feel that it is it important? I am involved with an organization for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities called Best Buddies, and I have been since 2013. I have met some of the greatest people who are still in my life today, and I love being involved in their events to spread awareness about inclusion. Who is your favorite actor/actress and why? I have a whole bunch of actors and actresses who are my favorite but I definitely have to say at the top of my list is Meryl Streep because she is so poised in the way she performs and how she delivers. I hope to be half the actor she is one day. How would you describe your fashion style? My fashion style is so girly and out there! To sum it up in three words, it is very sassy, simple, and sweet. I LOVE to wear dresses with Converse because it is such a fashion statement. It almost stopped a red carpet I did years ago. I am really into bows right now and wearing anything that describes my mood in what I’m feeling during the day. I love beanies and I have to say that any outfit looks cute with a set of french tip nails. Who are some of your favorite people in the entertainment industry that you have worked with? I have worked with Bran Bowden Smith, who is a famous photographer who collaborated with Kim Kardashian and Cindy Crawford. He is the sweetest person ever. Olivia Culpo and Charlotte Mckinney are my longest friends in the business, and I have worked with them as well in modeling photoshoots. Lynsey Bartilson (Grounded For Life) as well because she gave me the love of performing in Kids On Stage For A Better World at 14 years old. Everyone I have worked with has a special place in my heart. What advice would you give other kids that want to follow in your footsteps? If being in the entertainment industry is something you want to do, you have to love it wholeheartedly. All of it. I have to say, taking acting classes is so important. I have had amazing acting coaches over the years who have paved the way for me as a performer. The greatest actors you see on the screen today are still in acting classes. You never stop learning. Take an acting class online and write down your goals as an artist. Even for me, I am still studying my craft with an acting coach every other week. I would also say to start by doing local community theater and auditioning for school plays, collaborating with your acting friends, and making content to share online and work on scenes together. Write your own material and showcase your talent. What is one thing that nobody knows about you? I love road trips! I enjoy long car rides and looking outside the car window with music in the background as if I were the star of a music video. What can we expect to see from you in the future? I hope to have many co-star guest star roles in the future and be featured on a talk show sharing my journey. Eventually, I hope to be a series regular. If you could talk to your future self, what would you tell her? I would say to younger Miracle, “Hang on my love, your Cerebral Palsy is a gift in itself, and you are going to speak to so many people's hearts. You are going to do so much with your life, and guess what? That dream of wanting to see yourself on TV?? YOU DID IT KIDDO!!! I love you so much.” Is there anything else that you would like to share with our audience? I am so beyond grateful for the journey I am on. This isn’t about me. It’s about who I am giving hope to. It’s about sharing God’s love with someone who needs it. Being a voice is my WHY behind this journey. So if you’re reading this and you want to live out your dream as an artist. YOU have the power within you to do so. If I can do it, YOU can, too, and I will be rooting for you.

So, what do we think: It may not be Halloween anymore, but we might as well start the year off with a great movie anyway. While sequels always tend to be worse than the original, we believe Beetlejuice Beetlejuice to be an exception to the rule. The macabre imagery mixed in with silly and eccentric visual gags made for a unique, but fun experience. It gets a 10/10 from us. For fans of the original and newcomers alike, this movie has something for everyone.
Synopsis: Here is a brief synopsis of what to expect from our January/February pick! Reeling from a family tragedy, Lydia Deetz returns to her old home in Winter River, where she was haunted by Beetlejuice three decades prior. Just as Lydia begins to encounter Beetlejuice once again, the entire family is roped into turmoil as her teenage daughter, Astrid, accidentially opens a portal to the afterlife.

What are five things that you can't live without? Since you’re asking about “things,” I won’t include people or animals. The five things I can’t live without are a notebook, a pen, my laptop, my phone, and water. What's your life's motto or advice that you live by? Sometimes you do. Sometimes you don’t. So what? What’s next? I tell my kids and others following their ambitions – whether in acting or not – that all the time. It reminds people to look into the future. What's your favorite color? Green What is your favorite movie? A League of Their Own What is your favorite TV show? Survivor Do you have any pets? If so, what kind and what's their name? Yes! My 9-year-old Chiweenie is named Duchess and my 4-year-old Shih Tzu is named Bandit. What is your favorite place that you've traveled to? I absolutely LOVE Cannes, France. One of my goals is to own real estate of some sort there. I love, love, love it and I was able to share it with my family last summer. What is your favorite food? My mom’s pea soup and homemade croutons. I hope I can learn how to make it someday! If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, who would it be with and why? If I could choose anyone in the world, I would choose Christopher Guest. I love his casting model, how he works with the same actors over and over. I try to do the same thing. I love his writing and directing styles. I think he’s a genius, and I really look up to him. What inspired you to become a filmmaker, and how did you first get started in the industry? I was in front of the camera as an actress for a long time before I started to make films. I got tired of waiting for permission from other people to do the projects and tell the stories that compelled me, so I decided to figure out how to do it myself. Gemelli Films was born in 2015, and I started as a model/actress in 1983 (when I was 7). I genuinely don’t remember how I got started in the industry in the beginning. My first memory of being on stage is when I was 4 and took too long of a curtain call in Mr. Rocco’s ballet class and I got stuck outside of the big curtain. When I was 9, my Enrichment teacher Mrs. Steiner encouraged me to write a script when I mentioned that I had an idea for one. I’m very fortunate to have grown up with a mother that always encouraged and supported me to follow my dreams and achieve my goals. I wouldn’t be where I am today without her. Walk us through your creative process when starting a new project? When starting a new project, I like playing the “what if” game. I don’t usually have any specific starting point, like a character, prop or setting. I’ll just get a wild idea, like “What if a girl was kidnapped during a neighborhood prank war, and no one believed it wasn’t a prank? What if the kids had to use pranks to save her?” Then the story just grows from there. (Incidentally, I was referring to my film PRANK SQUAD.) Sometimes, I have to match the restrictions of a budget or a location. It’s like putting together a big puzzle. What’s your approach to storytelling? How do you decide on the themes and messages you want to convey? I like telling stories that are relatable, regardless of genre. My Executive Producers are usually the people that dictate what genre I write. The themes follow, and the messages usually come along with the story. I can’t really explain it—I feel that my storytelling is a God-given gift. I just write what happens to come to me. What are the key elements you focus on when editing your films to ensure they align with your initial vision? Honestly, I allow my editors to edit on their own, then we discuss what they’ve done after every 15 minute reel. I think it’s important to collaborate with a variety of people to get the best result. My editors read the scripts before they start editing, then edit together what they feel the story is. I’ve never had a problem with an editor giving their interpretation of a film. I hire editors to do their job, and I trust them. I don’t like micromanaging my team. How do you approach casting and working with actors to ensure they bring your characters to life? I work with the incredible Casting Director Donna McKenna. My projects usually have thousands of submissions from agents, managers and actors themselves. Donna whittles down the pool for each character and sends me their headshots. I go through them with my casting team, and we choose multiple actors that we can picture for the role. Those actors are then asked to do a video audition, and we compare everyone. The team rates their favorites on a number system with 1 as our favorite, then we work it down to who everyone agrees on. Casting is a true collaborative effort. Once the characters are cast, I speak with each one individually—especially if they are the leads. We talk about the character’s back story. We come up with the bones together, and I let the actors add their own meat. I like giving actors license over their characters once I establish the direction I’d like them to go. What do you think the future of film looks like, especially with the rise of streaming platforms? People will always tell stories, and there will always be an audience to watch them. The way that films are delivered to audiences will always vary. There is nothing like sitting in a theater with a tub of buttered popcorn watching a story unfold on a big screen. Out of the 22 films that I’ve made, only one has had a theatrical release. It doesn’t mean that the other 21 films are unsuccessful. As long as audiences are able to access the films they want to watch, I don’t think that the medium in which it delivers matters. I do, however, feel that awards such as the Oscars and Golden Globes are going to change the requirements to be eligible for their awards. What has been your personal favorite project to date and why? I really loved filming PRANK SQUAD, as my twins (Catherine and Charles) were in it with their friends. It’s an action comedy, and we really had a terrific time working on it. Plus, four of the actors (Charles Cain, Catherine Cain, Olivia Ludwig and Jennifer Hall) were all nominated for the Young Artist Academy Awards for their roles, and Jennifer won for Outstanding Teen Supporting Actress. We had a really terrific time filming that movie. Looking ahead, what themes or stories do you want to explore in your future projects? This year, we have a Christmas movie, a paranormal horror/thriller, a sports drama, a kids’ action/comedy and an action/adventure film. I love doing a variety of genres. It keeps things interesting for sure. In addition to all that you do, what other things are you are passionate about? (charity work, volunteering, etc.) Can you tell us about this work and why do you feel that it is it important? I’m passionate about baseball. It’s something that my children and I really connect on. We are huge Mets fans, and go to a lot of games together. Since my company is in the second season of our sports drama series HEAVY HITTERS, we do a lot of baseball-related things, like tours o stadiums, live games, and watching games on television. I also really like taking people under my wing and teaching them about filmmaking. SO many people think that you NEED to go to film school in order to get ahead in this industry, and that’s not necessarily the case. I never went to film school, and look at me. I think practical experience is incredibly important, and every set is a teaching set. We have interns that learn on every set that we have. I want people to know that a career in filmmaking is achievable regardless of age, location and experience. Who is your favorite actor/actress and why? I worked with Bryan Cranston when I was on MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE, and he was such a cool, humble, grounded guy. He is such a versatile actor. I would love to work with him again. I also think that Catherine O’Hara is a comic genius. I have a script called DAYS LIKE THIS, and I would love, love, love to cast her as the mom, Mrs. Peters. She has such great comedic timing. How would you describe your fashion style? COMFY! I honestly prefer wearing sweaters and jeans to anything else. Who are some of your favorite people in the entertainment industry that you have worked with? Adam Huss and Jason Frederick are two of my favorite people in the entire world. They’re like brothers to me. I’ve known Adam since February of this year, and it seems like we’ve known each other forever. We’re twin flames or something. Jason and I have been working together since my film BAKING UP LOVE in 2020, and I can’t picture my life without him. I bounce ideas off of them all the time. Joel Gallen had a really big impact on my perspective of directing when I worked with him on NOT ANOTHER TEAM MOVIE when I was focusing on acting. He’s incredibly talented and successful, but he is also so family-oriented and down to Earth. What advice would you give other kids that want to follow in your footsteps? The entertainment industry is hard, and you’re going to hear a lot more “no” than “yes.” Don’t take it personally, and certainly don’t give up. Don’t ever let anyone bully you into not following your dreams. What is one thing that nobody knows about you? My right foot is half a size smaller than my left foot. What can we expect to see from you in the future? My company does about five films and one series per year. We have a lot of films coming out in 2025, as well as our series. You’re going to hear the name Gemelli Films a lot more starting in 2025. If you could talk to your future self, what would you tell her? Keep going, because you’re on the right path. Everything truly does happen for a reason—Even the bad stuff. You’ll get through it. Stay strong. You got this. Is there anything else that you would you like to share with our audience? Thank you for interviewing me!

The Vampire Diaries Do you have any pets? If so, what kind and what's their name? I have a cat named Luna. What is your favorite place that you've traveled to? Italy What is your favorite food? Pasta If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, who would it be with and why? Ariana Grande because she is my inspiration. She followed the path that I want to take with acting and music. I would ask her a lot of questions about how to navigate the two worlds and questions about vocal technique. You are an actress. Tell us how did you get started acting? I started my journey into acting when I started pageants at the age of 3. This trained me to perform, to learn public speaking, to be prepared and polished. I was signed by my first agency when I was 8. What is your favorite genre to portray and why? If I had to choose, I would choose dramatic roles. I really like to get into character and have fun with bringing the role to life. If you could write the perfect role for yourself, in a genre that you have never tried before, what would it be and why? I would love to do a RomCom because I love watching them so much. It would be fun to act in one. You are also a musician. What inspired you to become a musician? I have always loved music and performing. Since I was 3 I have been performing on stage and have wanted to make it my career. Where do you find inspiration for your music? Walk us through your creative process when starting a new project? I find inspiration everywhere. Something will happen in my life that will make me feel a certain way and it will inspire me to put something down on paper. Also by listening to a song that I like and wanting to make something similar. I also just have fun making beats with my producer. How would you describe your music? I would describe my music as positive. I want to connect to people through my music and make content that makes me happy but also is relatable to my listeners. What do you hope new listeners take away from your songs? I hope that they will leave the experience feeling good and want to listen more. What is the one “lesson learned” moment that you have had as both a musician and actress? The one lesson learned is to take your time when deciding to work with someone. There are a lot of people in this industry that over sell and under deliver. It takes money to make things happen so make sure you can track the investment and how that money is helping your career specifically. Only work with people who actually believe in you and will tell you hard truths. NO yes people, EVER! In addition to all that you do, what other things are you are passionate about? (charity work, volunteering, etc.) Can you tell us about this work and why do you feel that it is it important? I am passionate about my personal time with loved ones, family and friends. I need time to reflect and recharge so I can be my best self for my work and my fans. I work with several charity organizations. My longest relationship is with Operation Underground Railroad (Our Rescue). It is an organization dedication to ending sex trafficking and forced labor across the globe. I have been a part of the organization since I was 11-years-old. You may have see the movie The Sound of Freedom, based on this organization. This cause is extremely important to me. I also am a part of Thirst Project and Wells of Life. Both of these organizations are dedicated to bringing clean water to people that need it anywhere in the world. Who is your favorite actor/actress and why? Rachel McAdams because she connects with her characters and makes them her own. She can do drama and comedy amazingly well and at the same time. How would you describe your fashion style? I don’t have a set style. I love to try and experiment with everything that I think looks good. I can be very girly but also very tomboyish. I love a lot of different styles. Who are some of your favorite people in the entertainment industry that you have worked with? I have worked with amazing people as a voice actor but on camera I am still building my What advice would you give other kids that want to follow in your footsteps? The advice I would give aspiring actors and artists is first to understand what it looks like to be in this industry. It is hard work and sacrifice. A lot of times it can be frustrating and heartbreaking. So, with that said, unless it is your passion, the thing you really want to do, don’t do it. If, however, it IS your passion… then NEVER GIVE UP. Keep going and trust yourself. Don’t listen to the haters, keep your life private and focus on you. What is one thing that nobody knows about you? I have 5 siblings and I am the youngest. What can we expect to see from you in the future? I am focused on continuing my training in acting and music. I spend a lot of time preparing for future roles and performances I have up coming. You can expect to see me performing in larger venues and hopefully larger roles in the coming year. If you could talk to your future self, what would you tell her? Good Job! We made it! Is there anything else that you would you like to share with our audience? Thank you all so much for your love and support over the years. We are just getting started and I can’t wait to take you along with me. Love you! Bullying is one of the worst forms of abuse there is. It is a horrible thing that nobody should have to go through. I have been bullied and treated differently most of my life because of my choice to follow my dreams and be in this industry. It can make a person really question themselves. It can kill the soul. All people deserve love and respect. They deserve the benefit of the doubt. A person never really knows whats going on with someone, even a bully, but no one should ever be a doormat or made to feel less than… EVER.

The start of a new year is the perfect time to set goals and make positive changes, but the traditional way of writing resolutions can often feel like a burden. Rather than simply listing vague goals, why not make the process more fun and engaging? Here are 30 creative ways to make New Year’s resolutions that will keep you motivated and excited all year long. 1. Create a Vision Board Cut out images and phrases from magazines, printouts, or photos that represent your goals for the year. Displaying them on a board will serve as a daily reminder of your aspirations. 2. Choose a Word of the Year Pick a word that will guide you through the year. It could be “balance,” “growth,” or “adventure.” Focus on how you can embody this word in your daily life. 3. Make a Bucket List Instead of traditional resolutions, create a list of experiences you want to have. Examples include visiting a specific country, seeing your favorite band in concert, or taking a pottery class. 4. Gamify Your Goals Turn your resolutions into a game with a points system. For instance, award yourself 10 points for going for a walk, 20 for trying a new recipe, and 50 for finishing a book. 5. Start a 30-Day Challenge Commit to a 30-day challenge for each month, whether it’s a workout challenge, reading challenge, or meditation challenge. You can try something new each month! 6. Join a Class or Workshop Whether it's painting, coding, or dancing, join a class that excites you and will teach you something new. Not only will it help you grow, but it’s also a fun way to meet new people. 7. Create a “100 Things” List Write a list of 100 things you want to accomplish in the year, big or small. These could range from “try a new restaurant” to “write a letter to a friend.” The key is diversity in your goals. 8. Start a Gratitude Jar Each time something positive happens, write it on a piece of paper and place it in your gratitude jar. At the end of the year, read through all the joyful moments you’ve collected. 9. Do a “One Thing a Week” Commit to doing one new thing every week. Whether it’s a hobby, trying a new recipe, or starting a DIY project, mix it up to keep things fresh. 10. Take More Photos Make a resolution to take one meaningful photo each day. By the end of the year, you’ll have a collection of memories to reflect on. 11.Read More Books Set a goal for how many books you want to read in the year. Whether it’s 12, 20, or 50, track your progress and enjoy diving into new worlds. 12.Volunteer Your Time Commit to volunteering at least once a month. Whether it’s at a food bank, animal shelter, or a community event, helping others will be a fulfilling resolution. 13. Travel Somewhere New Add “travel” to your list of resolutions by committing to visit a new city, country, or region in the year. It can be a weekend getaway or a longer vacation. 14. Start a Journal Whether it’s gratitude journaling or reflecting on your day, make a commitment to journal regularly. This will help you process your emotions and track your growth. 15. Declutter Your Space Make it a goal to declutter one area of your home every month. Tackling one space at a time, such as your closet, kitchen, or office, will help you feel more organized and at peace. 16. Focus on Fitness Start a fitness challenge with a friend or by yourself. It could be running a 5K, mastering a new yoga pose, or hitting the gym three times a week. 17. Plan Regular “Me Time” Schedule one “me time” activity each week. Whether it’s a bath, a movie night, or a walk in the park, prioritize self-care. 18. Cook More Often Set a goal to cook a certain number of meals per week or try cooking a new dish each month. This will encourage creativity and healthier eating habits. 19. Take Up a New Hobby Try something completely new, like knitting, photography, or even birdwatching. Experiment with something you’ve never done before and see how it feels. 20. Be More Present Practice mindfulness by committing to put away your phone for a set amount of time each day. Use this time to focus on being present in the moment, whether you’re with family or enjoying a hobby. 21. Learn a New Language If you’ve always wanted to speak another language, make it a goal to learn the basics of a new language. There are plenty of apps and online classes to help you get started. 22. Cut Down on Screen Time Set specific limits for your screen time each day. This could be a resolution to spend more time outdoors or with loved ones instead of scrolling on your phone. 23. Plant a Garden Whether it’s a few potted plants or a full vegetable garden, getting your hands in the dirt and watching things grow can be a rewarding and relaxing resolution. 24. Start a Blog or YouTube Channel If you love to write, share your thoughts and experiences by starting a blog. Or, if you enjoy video creation, start a YouTube channel to document your journey. 25. Take a Digital Detox Dedicate one weekend or day each month to a digital detox. Unplug from social media, emails, and work to focus on your well-being and spend time offline. 26. Strengthen Relationships Make a resolution to call, text, or meet up with a loved one at least once a month. Strengthening bonds with friends and family can enhance your emotional health. 27. Get Creative with Art Commit to doing something artistic each month, whether it’s painting, sketching, or making jewelry. Use art as a form of self-expression. 28. Try a New Fitness Class If you’re into fitness, resolve to try a new class such as pilates, spinning, or martial arts. It’s a great way to add variety to your workout routine. 29. Practice Positive Affirmations Start each day with a positive affirmation. Write it down or say it aloud to foster a positive mindset throughout the year. 30. Set a Budget and Save If you want to focus on finances, set a monthly budget and stick to it. Create a savings goal, whether it’s for an emergency fund, a vacation, or a special purchase. New Year’s resolutions don’t have to feel like a chore. By making them fun, creative, and personalized, you can stay excited and motivated throughout the year. Whether it’s learning a new skill, focusing on your health, or giving back to others, the possibilities for positive change are endless. Through interviews, features, and reviews, entertainers can reach a broad audience—many of whom may not have otherwise discovered their work. Press coverage can provide exposure through different channels, including newspapers, magazines, online platforms, television interviews, and podcasts. For example, a pop artist releasing a new album may be featured in a major magazine’s cover story, or an actor starring in a blockbuster film may be interviewed on a popular talk show. These appearances allow entertainers to reach not just their core fanbase but also potential new fans. Moreover, in an era dominated by social media, press coverage often extends to viral articles, memes, and video clips that circulate online, providing even greater reach. A well-placed feature in a respected outlet can provide the kind of exposure that attracts millions of new fans, which is invaluable for an entertainer’s career. Proper Press Coverage Can Help Promote New Projects and Enhance Career Opportunities Proper press coverage is especially important when an entertainer is launching a new project—be it an album, film, TV show, or even a brand collaboration. In such cases, media outlets serve as an essential marketing tool that can drive awareness and interest in the project. Press releases, interviews, and event coverage are vital ways to inform the public about upcoming releases, premieres, or performances. For example, before the release of a highly anticipated movie, the cast and crew typically embark on a press tour that includes interviews with major media outlets. These interviews not only promote the film but also help the audience connect with the actors and filmmakers on a personal level. As a result, the entertainer benefits from increased exposure, and the project garners more attention and potential success. In addition to project promotion, press coverage also opens up further career opportunities. Positive media attention can lead to new contracts, collaborations, and offers. When an entertainer’s work is widely praised in the media, it enhances their credibility and reputation within the industry. This recognition can make them more attractive to producers, directors, agents, and sponsors who are looking for talent that has a proven ability to capture public attention. Proper Press Coverage Can Help Entertainers Engage with Fans and Foster Loyalty In today’s entertainment ecosystem, maintaining a strong relationship with fans is critical. Press coverage provides entertainers with an opportunity to engage with their fanbase in a meaningful way. Interviews, personal stories, and public statements allow fans to feel a deeper connection with the entertainer beyond their work. This connection can translate into stronger loyalty, increased fan engagement, and continued support. For instance, an actor who opens up about their personal struggles with mental health may receive a positive response from fans who appreciate their honesty and vulnerability. Similarly, a musician who shares the inspiration behind their latest album can make fans feel more connected to the music and the artist. In this way, proper press coverage doesn’t just promote the entertainer’s work; it also humanizes them, fostering a bond with their audience. Additionally, press coverage can be an avenue for entertainers to express gratitude to their fans. Public acknowledgment of fan support through interviews or social media posts can create a sense of reciprocity, encouraging fans to continue supporting the entertainer’s career. Proper Press Coverage Can Help Navigate Controversies and Manage Crisis The entertainment industry is not without its challenges. Scandals, controversies, and misunderstandings are almost inevitable for high-profile entertainers. In such instances, press coverage can either exacerbate the situation or help mitigate the damage. The key lies in how the entertainer and their team manage the media narrative. Entertainers who face controversy often rely on the press to communicate their side of the story or to address any false claims. Well-crafted press releases, interviews, and public statements can help clear the air and shift the conversation in a more positive direction. In the case of a public apology, a carefully handled media appearance can demonstrate accountability and remorse, which may help rebuild the entertainer's public image. When handled correctly, media coverage during a crisis can turn the tide and even garner public sympathy. For example, an entertainer who speaks out against unfair treatment in the industry or shares a personal story of redemption may inspire fans and restore their reputation over time. Proper Press Coverage Can Help Entertainers Stay Relevant in a Competitive Industry The entertainment industry is marked by constant change, with new talent emerging every day. In order to stay relevant, entertainers need to remain in the public consciousness. Press coverage is one of the most effective ways to maintain relevance in an overcrowded field. Regular media appearances—whether they are related to a new project, a personal milestone, or a social cause—keep entertainers in the spotlight. Being featured in prominent media outlets ensures that the entertainer stays on the radar of their fans and the industry at large. Without consistent press coverage, even the most talented entertainers may risk being forgotten in favor of newer, more visible personalities. For entertainers, proper press coverage is not just a luxury—it’s a necessity. In a world where visibility, reputation, and engagement are paramount, having the right media presence can make or break a career. Press coverage helps build a strong public image, increases visibility, promotes new projects, engages fans, and allows entertainers to manage controversies and stay relevant. In a world driven by public perception, proper press coverage is one of the most powerful tools an entertainer can use to succeed and thrive in the competitive entertainment industry. Starting a podcast can be an exciting venture, especially if you’re passionate about a topic and eager to share your thoughts with the world. However, if you’re just getting started with no pre-existing audience, it might feel overwhelming. The good news is, building an audience for your podcast is completely achievable with the right strategies, tools, and persistence. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you launch a podcast from scratch. Step One: Define Your Niche and Topic Before you press record, you need to define your podcast's niche. The podcasting landscape is vast, so identifying a specific focus is crucial for attracting and retaining an audience. Think about the topics you are passionate about and can speak on consistently. Whether it’s storytelling, tech, comedy, self-help, or even a niche hobby, narrowing down your subject matter will help you stand out in a crowded space. Consider the needs of potential listeners. What problems can you solve, or what unique perspective can you offer that others aren’t? Step Two: Plan Your Format How will your podcast be structured? There are many options to consider, such as interviews, monologues, panels, or story-based content. You should also determine the length and frequency of your episodes—will they be 15-minute bite-sized episodes or longer deep dives? The format should align with the content and audience you're trying to build. Step Three: Invest in Equipment While you don’t need top-of-the-line gear to start, you’ll want to invest in a few essentials for good sound quality. At a minimum, you’ll need: - A decent microphone (USB mics like the Blue Yeti are a great place to start). - Headphones to monitor your audio while recording. - Audio recording software (some options include: Audacity, Adobe Audition, Riverside). Remember, the goal is to sound clear and professional, so take time to test your equipment and learn how to use it. Step Four: Create a Recording Space Good audio quality is paramount for a podcast. To ensure your recordings are clean, choose a quiet space with minimal background noise. Soft furnishings, carpets, or curtains can help reduce echo and unwanted sounds. If you don’t have a soundproofed room, consider using pillows or blankets to create a makeshift recording booth. Step Five: Develop Your Brand and Artwork Your podcast’s branding is crucial, especially if you don’t have an existing audience. The name of your podcast should be catchy, clear, and easy to search for. Design eye-catching artwork that’s clear and reflects the tone of your podcast. Platforms like Canva offer templates for creating professional podcast covers. Step Six: Create Intro and Outro Music Having a professional intro and outro for your podcast helps establish your brand and sets the tone for your episodes. You don’t need to hire a composer—there are royalty-free music libraries online where you can find high-quality intro music that fits your theme. Keep it short and engaging. Step Seven: Record and Edit Your First Episodes Once your equipment is set up and your format is decided, it's time to record. Aim to produce at least 3-5 episodes for your launch, giving your listeners something to listen to immediately. During recording, speak clearly and keep your pacing engaging. Afterward, edit your audio to remove long pauses, filler words, and any mistakes. Editing software like Audacity, Riverside, Descript, among others can help clean up your recordings. Step Eight: Choose a Podcast Hosting Platform To get your podcast out into the world, you’ll need a podcast hosting provider. These platforms store your audio files and distribute them to podcast directories like Apple Podcasts and Spotify. Some popular podcast hosting platforms include: - Spotify - Libsyn - Buzzsprout - Podbean Choose a platform that fits your needs, and upload your episodes. Step Nine: Submit Your Podcast to Directories Once your podcast is hosted, it’s time to submit it to podcast directories. This is where people will discover your show. Some of the most important directories to submit to are: - Apple Podcasts - Spotify - iHeartRadio Each directory has specific guidelines for submission, so make sure to read those carefully. Once approved, your podcast will be available for people to listen to on those platforms. Step Ten: Promote Your Podcast Building an audience from scratch requires proactive promotion. Here are several strategies to consider: 1. Leverage social media: Share your episodes on platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Use hashtags relevant to your niche to increase visibility. 2. Create a website or blog: Having a website for your podcast allows you to post show notes, transcripts, and additional content. It also provides a central place for listeners to learn more about your podcast. 3. Collaborate with other podcasters: Reach out to other podcasters in your niche for cross-promotion. Guest appearances or shoutouts can introduce you to new audiences. 4. Email newsletters: Encourage people to sign up for an email list where you can notify them of new episodes or share exclusive content. 5. Engage with your listeners: Respond to comments and messages from listeners. Building a loyal community around your podcast will help grow your audience. Step Eleven: Focus on Consistency and Quality As a new podcaster with no audience, consistency is key. Commit to a regular release schedule (weekly, bi-weekly, etc.) so that listeners know when to expect new content. Also, continue to focus on improving the quality of your content over time. With each episode, find ways to refine your delivery, explore new ideas, and grow your podcast’s value. Step Twelve: Evaluate and Adjust Your Strategy After a few months of podcasting, take time to evaluate what’s working and what isn’t. Use analytics provided by your hosting platform to understand your audience better—what are your most popular episodes? What’s driving traffic? Based on this data, adjust your content and promotional strategies to cater more effectively to your listeners. Starting a podcast with no audience can be intimidating, but it's not impossible. By focusing on your niche, creating high-quality content, and actively promoting your show, you can steadily build a loyal listener base. Remember, growth takes time. With consistency, patience, and dedication, your podcast can evolve from a passion project to a thriving platform that resonates with listeners worldwide.
