Vacation or Out of Your Apartment Please let your Community Engagement Coordinator or Resident Services Office know when you are leaving town or will be away from your apartment for longer than a few days. At times, neighbors can get concerned if they don’t see you for some time or see mail or correspondence piling up. In the event you leave your vehicle here while you are away, please also discuss with your Community Engagement Coordinator or the Resident Services Office how we may move your vehicle ONLY in an emergency situation and by always providing you with notification. Finally, if you have a guest staying with you or a circumstance where an unregistered vehicle is on property for longer than a few days, please let your Community Engagement Coordinator or Resident Services Office know so we can make a note of that vehicle being on property. This helps us to address any illegal parking in the courtyard.

Fun Facts: The Butterball Turkey Hotline
Back Then In History
Thanksgiving Leftover Sandwich This turkey, pickle, cranberry sauce, and Swiss cheese sandwich is a delicious way to enjoy Thanksgiving leftovers. The creamy Swiss cheese melts beautifully with the savory turkey, tangy cranberry sauce, and crisp pickles, all nestled between buttery, toasted bread. It’s a festive twist on a classic sandwich.
Ingredients 2 slices of bread (sourdough or whole grain) 1/2 cup sliced cooked turkey 2 tablespoons cranberry sauce 2 slices Swiss cheese 4-5 pickle slices 1 tablespoon mayonnaise (optional) 1 tablespoon butter (for toasting)
The Butterball Turkey Hotline, launched in 1981, offers expert advice on cooking turkeys during the holiday season. Staffed by culinary professionals, the hotline receives thousands of calls annually, providing tips on everything from thawing to cooking times. The service began as a marketing strategy but became a beloved resource. It’s open year-round, offering guidance on turkey-related queries beyond Thanksgiving. The hotline is known for its friendly and helpful advice, making holiday cooking less stressful for many families.

With their unique blend of wit and wisdom, they delve into a world of secrets and danger, revealing surprises that keep readers guessing until the very end.
The Pumpkin Spice Latte, a popular seasonal beverage, debuted at Starbucks in 2003. Created by Peter Dukes, the latte was introduced to capitalize on the growing interest in pumpkin-flavored products. Significant dates include its launch in September 2003 and its becoming a staple of autumnal menus by 2004. The drink's success spurred a wider trend of pumpkin spice products, making it an iconic symbol of fall in North America and influencing seasonal flavors in other brands.
Step 1: Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread, if using. Step 2: On one slice of bread, layer the Swiss cheese, turkey slices, cranberry sauce, and pickles. Step 3: Place the second slice of bread on top to form a sandwich. Butter the outer sides of the bread. Step 4: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted. Step 5: Remove from the skillet, cut in half if desired, and serve warm.

Salvation Army Adopt-a-Family Program THE LAST DATE FOR DONATIONS IS SUNDAY, DECEMBER 7TH Every year our generous residents of Nicolet Highlands participate in the Salvation Army Adopt-a-Family Program. This program allows Brown County businesses to anonymously adopt children and families in need during the Christmas Season. Once again, we have the opportunity to help a family in need in our community. In the week before Thanksgiving, we will put up a special Christmas tree by the office and post items requested by the family members. If you would like to participate, simply check the gift lists posted and write your name next to the item(s) you plan to purchase. You can drop the unwrapped gifts in the box by the tree. Gift certificates can be put in a labeled envelope and dropped in the rent drop-box next to the office door. No cash donations may be accepted.
