Summer may be coming to a close, but that doesn't mean the fun has to stop! In our Afterschool Programs, our goals are simple: Provide a safe, inclusive space in which all kids feel welcome and like they belong here. Keep learning fun! Our games, activities, and daily routines are all designed to support the school day in the most fun way possible. To instill the YMCA core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect & Responsibility in all that we do. As parents, you've entrusted the Y with your most precious thing. We don't take that lightly. WE'RE SO GLAD YOU'RE HERE!
Hi, I’m Madi, and I’ve been with the YMCA for just under six months. I have a passion for working with children and truly enjoyed the opportunity to be part of different programs over the summer, getting to know many of the kids in our YMCA community. At the end of last school year, I worked as a substitute, which allowed me to visit a variety of sites and gain valuable experience. This year, I’m excited to serve as an assistant at our new school, Greenwood Charter, and I look forward to getting to know, learn from, and grow with your children throughout the year.
