The YMCA depends upon its community, so we make it a habit to give back. Last year, we awarded $1,921,269 in Financial Assistance to Y families thanks to our generous donors & sponsors. For Giving Tuesday, we challenged our participants to raise funds for even more kids; this month, we're challenging you. The holidays are just around the corner, and we know that holiday meals, gifts, and travel add up. However, we also know that more than ever kids need community, friendships, and place to learn, grow, and thrive every single day. Will you help us make that happen, with just a small $1-10 donation? We are thrilled to share some exciting updates with our YMCA family! Please join us in congratulating Ashley Ballew on her promotion to Director of Summer Day Camp. Her passion and dedication to youth programs make her the perfect fit for this role, and we can’t wait to see the amazing experiences she will bring to life. Additionally, we are delighted to welcome Grace Fisher to our Weber Y team as the new Youth Development Director, beginning December 1st. Grace brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in afterschool and childcare programming, and we are confident she will make a positive impact on our community. Thank you for being part of our YMCA family as we continue to grow and strengthen our programs for your children.

Giving back & Giving Tuesday
December 8th-12th
This week we will be doing a melting snowman literacy activity and making cute snowflake suncatchers to hang up at home.
Ogden, Weber, Davis & Beyond
Please have your child bring a water bottle with their name on it. Watch the weather and dress your child accordingly! Snacks from home are allowed, but we are a NUT-FREE ZONE! No phones in program, please. For pick up you must walk to the portable. We close at 6:00 pm sharp! If you pick up after then (even one minute) you will be charged.
New Years
This month we are excite to highlight one of our students, Jocelyn! Every day, Jocelyn walks in with a big smile and a great attitude, ready to learn and help others. Whether its tackling a craft or showing kindness she always gives 100%! We love how curious and creative she is-especially when it comes to drawing. Thank you, Jocelyn, for bringing so much joy, teamwork, and positivity into our YMCA Washington Terrace Elementary family. Keep shining bright! -Ms.Emma
