The VBIA's primary mission is to advocate for the construction industry, and our first quarter has been nothing short of busy and impactful. We've been actively engaged in several key events to ensure our voices are heard and our industry's needs are addressed. Our association participated in a special Volusia County meeting where we spoke out against a proposed moratorium on the construction industry, highlighting the importance of continued growth and development. Additionally, we were present at the Volusia County "Q" Breakfast, the Volusia County Roundtable, and the State of the County Address, making sure that our concerns and perspectives were represented. A highlight of our quarter was the opportunity to meet Florida Senator Randy Fine, who is running for the U.S. House in the 6th Congressional District. Engaging with leaders like Senator Fine is crucial as we advocate for policies that support our industry. As we move forward, we remain committed to representing the interests of our members and ensuring a thriving construction environment in our region. Thank you for your continued support and involvement!
