Summer may be coming to a close, but that doesn't mean the fun has to stop! In our Afterschool Programs, our goals are simple: Provide a safe, inclusive space in which all kids feel welcome and like they belong here. Keep learning fun! Our games, activities, and daily routines are all designed to support the school day in the most fun way possible. To instill the YMCA core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect & Responsibility in all that we do. As parents, you've entrusted the Y with your most precious thing. We don't take that lightly. We are grateful that you have partnered with the Y and we are looking forward to getting to your child and you over the course of the school year! September 1st is Labor Day - there is no school and no program. This week we are going to do a Robot Design Lab!
Help us make our classrooms even better by making a donation from our Amazon wish list!
Please have your child bring a water bottle with their name on it! It is hot and we are in a portable, please dress your child accordingly. Snacks from home are allowed, but we are a NUT-FREE ZONE. Please do not bring phones into program. We close at 6:00 pm sharp! If you pick up after then (even one minute) you will be charged.

This week we're thrilled to highlight our Program Assistant, Ms. Lilly! Ms. Lilly is amazing with kids and loves working with the YMCA. Her favorite color is purple and she loves working at Washington Terrace Elementary! We are so excited for a new school year filled with fun!!
