The end of summer often marks a transition period filled with a mix of emotions and activities. As days grow shorter and temperatures start to cool, people typically shift their focus from summer vacations and outdoor adventures to preparing for the fall season. Gardens and landscapes begin to show signs of fall, with leaves starting to change color and summer plantings winding down. We start to look ahead to fall holidays like Halloween, Thanksgiving, planning decorations and gatherings, and all that comes with autumn festivities.

Underground Parking friendly Reminders Our garage parking spaces are for vehicles that belong to our residents only. We do, however, also allow you to keep one storage tote in the front of your designated parking space. All other items must be stored elsewhere, and we thank you for keeping our garage clutter-free.

Shelf Indulgence this month's book recommendation
Ingredients 1 bottle (750 ml) red wine (e.g., Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon) 1/4 cup brandy 1/4 cup orange liqueur (e.g., Triple Sec) 1 apple, cored and sliced 1 pear, cored and sliced 1 orange, sliced 1 cinnamon stick 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup 2 cups sparkling water or club soda Ice cubes

Step 1: In a large pitcher, mix the red wine, brandy, and orange liqueur. STEP 2: Add the sliced apple, pear, and orange to the pitcher. Stir in the cinnamon stick and honey (or maple syrup). STEP 3: Refrigerate the mixture for at least 2 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld. STEP 4: Just before serving, add ice cubes to the pitcher and top with sparkling water or club soda for a refreshing fizz. Food Truck Day Thursday, September 18th 11:00 am - 1:00 pm The truck will be located by the Reid St. Entrance by the Community Room. The ADRC Food Truck is back by popular demand with a select menu of sandwiches. They will be offering Paninis, wraps, sandwiches, grilled cheese, and more. Senior Dining Program will also be available. N.E.W. Curative Transportation PHONE 920-227-4272 Low cost bus transportation for $5.00 each way. Pickup every Tuesday at 9:10 am for shopping at Festival Foods and Walmart on alternate Tuesdays. You can also schedule individual rides for doctor appointments. Call to schedule your pickup date. Clients must pay as they board the bus with the correct change.
