Shootout Rules
Clock Pool Play Games VARSITY - Two halves, 16 minute running clock. Clock stops in the last minute of each half. Three minute halftime. JV - Two halves, 13 minute running clock. Clock stops in the last minute of each half. Three minute halftime. OVERTIME- Tip-off then sudden death (first team to score). Tournament Games VARSITY AND JV- 20 minute game, running clock. Clock stops in the last minute. OVERTIME- Two minute overtime. Clock stops on all dead balls in overtime. ALL FOULS are two shots (worth one point each). Each team gets one timeout (none carry over). Fouls Non-shooting fouls- take ball out on the side or underneath. Shooting fouls- 1 shot for 2 points. In the last minute- ALL FOULS are two shots (worth one point each). Overtime- ALL FOULS are two shots (worth one point each). Timeouts Pool Play- One timeout in each half. Unused timeouts do not carry over. Tournament- One timeout (none carry over). All other rules follow OHSAA and NFHS rules.
