Summer may be coming to a close, but that doesn't mean the fun has to stop! In our Afterschool Programs, our goals are simple: Provide a safe, inclusive space in which all kids feel welcome and like they belong here. Keep learning fun! Our games, activities, and daily routines are all designed to support the school day in the most fun way possible. To instill the YMCA core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect & Responsibility in all that we do. As parents, you've entrusted the Y with your most precious thing. We don't take that lightly. We are grateful that you have partnered with the Y and we are looking forward to getting to your child and you over the course of the school year! WE'RE SO GLAD YOU'RE HERE!
This week we're excited to highlight our gym activities! Because of the amazing gym space, we're able to play sharks and minnows - one of our favorite group activities! We're also able to take "bubble breaks" to take some time to practice taking deep breaths, and spend time outside in the shade, even when it's warm outside.
