Early Out: November 5th and 6th No Afterschool on November 7th Thanksgiving Break: November 24th-28th School's Out Camp is open on November 26th! Snack Reminder: A fruit and grain option will be served every day. Students are welcome to bring their own snack if wanted, but we are a NUT-FREE ZONE The classroom can get a bit chilly, a jacket or sweatshirt may help keep students more comfortable! Please remember to let Jayde know if a student will not be in program that day, or if there are any changes to pickup. The number is (385) 376-3020

November 18th - Wells HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Did you know that, every week, our YMCA programs engage in activities designed to reinforce learning and lessons that take place during the school day? Playing with Legos is exciting, but it also builds cognitive development as kids try to build the tallest structure they can. Art projects are fun, but we're also learning all about primary colors, and how to mix and match different hues to find something new! Group games are energetic, but we're also teaching kids to be team players and cheer for others even when it's tough. Our staff spend hours each week preparing activities that your kids will not only enjoy, but that will also challenge them to reach their fullest potential! Ask you child(ren) what their favorite activities are at the Y and let our staff know so that they can plan more! When learning is fun, minds are engaged!

Our spotlight for this week is for our entire amazing class and the fun activities from October, such as our painted pumpkin! Everyone was able to work together to come up with a fun idea for our pumpkin's design and were all a part of creating it. Shout-outs to ALL our awesome program participants, we're so glad you're all here!

Dear Weber and Davis Afterschool Families, This Thanksgiving, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of our afterschool families. Your presence in our Y community means so much. Thank you for trusting us to be part of your child’s journey - we’re honored to support their growth, learning, and joy. We also want to give a special shoutout to the families who donated gently used items for our Savers fundraiser. Your generosity helps strengthen our programs and directly supports the experiences we offer to all children. As you celebrate the season, we invite you to try a simple activity with your child: make a “Thankful Tree” together. Cut out paper leaves, write something you're grateful for on each one, and hang them on a branch or wall. It’s a fun way to reflect, connect, and celebrate the good in your lives—big or small.
