WITH YMCA SUMMER DAY CAMP
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE We believe every child should experience camp, regardless of family income. Thanks to the generous support of our donors, we are able to offer one week of camp scholarship to families in need. Scholarships are awarded to qualified applicants on a first-come, first-served basis. Scholarship applications are available at branch locations or on our website at www.duluthymca.org.

PAYMENT A non-refundable deposit of $52 is due upon registration. This fee is waived for scholarship applicants. The registration system will automatically schedule your final payment to be due two weeks before the start of camp. If you are unable to pay the deposit or need to set up a scheduled payment plan, please contact us at 218.722.4745 x140 or x103. Participants MUST have completed registration and have a payment plan set up before attending camp.

We are looking for volunteers (AGES 15+) Do you love working with kids in a camp setting? Here’s your chance to take on a leadership role! Volunteers are assigned to a group and help campers acquire feelings of high self-esteem, self-worth, and competence in an outdoor setting. Ages 9-13 Our oldest group of campers will have the opportunity to take on a bit more adventure in this group. Campers will discover, navigate, and explore the great outdoors while learning important skills that will carry over into their daily lives. Campers will participate in activities such as arts and crafts, group games, hikes, team building, and skits.
1:00 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES This may include games, hikes, and arts and craft projects
A TYPICAL DAY AT CAMP
We are so excited for another year of adventure, friendship, and exploration at YMCA Day Camp. Get ready for a summer packed with fun and time in the great outdoors. The YMCA provides safe, engaging, high-quality programming that ensures this will be another summer to remember at the YMCA at the Essentia Wellness Center and North Star Academy.
Ages 5-8 These campers will get to experience classic camp activities such as arts and crafts, group games, and skits. Campers will make new friendships, explore the wonder of the outdoors, and play in nature under the watch of our experienced and enthusiastic staff. Campers must complete kindergarten to attend camp.
*Campers will be swimming each week. The North Star Academy location will be transported by bus to the Downtown Duluth YMCA to swim.
12:30 p.m.–1:00 p.m. TURTLE TIME Group reading, team building, and quieter activities

CHILD CARE ASSISTANCE YMCA Day Camp is also able to work with families who receive Child Care County Assistance. We can complete the necessary paperwork to get reimbursement from the county, but this process must be started before attending camp by contacting your case worker.
REGISTRATION Register online at duluthymca.org/register for Day Camp at the YMCA at the Essentia Wellness Center or North Star Academy. Registration must be completed no less than 17 days prior to the start of each camp week. No refunds will be issued once registration is closed. For further assistance, email us at daycamp@duluthymca.org. Be sure to have your child's current medical information, health history, and vaccination records available when registering. As a Minnesota state certified program, we require vaccination records during registration to meet state level certification requirements. All campers must complete kindergarten to attend camp.
