Special notice Please bring in your old palm crosses for use on Ash Wednesday 18th February [day of abstinence] when the ashes will be blessed and distributed. Mass will be at 10 am at St David. Ashes will also be distributed at both churches on the First Sunday of Lent Mass. Please bring your palms to church this Sunday or leave them at the presbytery. Thank you.
Reflection on the Gospel reading The Gospel reminds us that, in service of the Kingdom, our good works cannot and should not be hidden. By our acts of loving service, we live as salt; by our faithful trust in God’s love, we live as light. And all so that God might be glorified. Let’s pray that our coming week might be full of good works, and that through them, God’s glory might be revealed.
