It's that time of year again when everyone is setting new goals and resolutions, and the Y isn't any exception. This year, we're setting even higher goals for ourselves to make sure we're always going above and beyond our potential. Did you know that setting goals with your child is a great way to boast self-confidence, achievement, and growth? Even setting easily managed goals like making your bed each day, or eating a balanced breakfast can help kids feel a sense of accomplishment first thing in the morning and set them on a path for success for the remainder of the day! We're challenging you and ourselves to set some goals this year! Shooting for the stars is stellar, but for these goals, make sure they're manageable. Once you decide, share them with us so that we can cheer you on, and celebrate with you when you succeed! Don't worry, you got this!

We are so excited that our Afterschool site now has a brand new playground! It has already made such a positive impact on our program. The new equipment is bright, modern, and designed with safety in mind, giving students a fun and engaging space to play after a long school day. From climbing structures to slides and open areas for imaginative play, the playground offers something for everyone and encourages kids to stay active while enjoying the outdoors.
