Five Canzonetti for Organ — Noel Goemanne Offertoire; Dialogue; Prayer; Nocturne; Song
Introit
Christ, whose glory fills the skies, Christ, the true, the only light, Sun of Righteousness, arise, triumph o’er the shades of night; Dayspring from on high, be near; Daystar, in my heart appear. (Words: Charles Wesley; Tune: Ratisbon, German, 1815)
*Call to Worship
All are invited to read the bold-faced type; the reader will read the unbolded type. Holy One, we are here. We gather as those who don’t always understand, but still long to follow. Jesus promised the Spirit, who teaches and reminds us of all he said. We open our hearts to learn, to be changed, and to live in that peace. The Spirit of truth is not far off—it is with us and within us. We worship the God who never gives up on revealing love to us.

Trinity Sunday
Prayer of Confession
Patient God, we admit that we often miss what you are trying to show us. We ask for signs when you’ve already given us yourself. We cling to our certainties instead of trusting your presence. Like the disciples, we want answers without listening to your voice. Forgive us for our slowness to believe, our fear of change, and our reluctance to receive the Spirit you freely give. Keep teaching us. Keep loving us. And keep calling us into deeper understanding of your way. Amen.
Silent Confession
Words of Assurance
Though we do not always understand, God does not abandon us. Christ offers us peace—not as the world gives, but as only God can.
*Gloria Hymnal #102, v. 3 alt.
All glory be to God, all praise and thanks be given; Whose Son and Spirit reign as one in highest Heaven; Our one eternal God, whom earth and heaven adore; For thus it was, is now, and shall be evermore.
